  1. I don't think I could find the bar again if I tried, it was very much a case of any port in a storm! It was bloody lovely place, music at a reasonable volume, beer in tip top shape if stupidly overpriced! They were doing an absolutely roaring trade as everyone had the same idea!
  2. It came out of nowhere, was seeing a comedian, when we arrived it was dry and chilly. After the first support act I popped out for a smoke and it was snowing. When we came out after the headliner it was 6inches+ thick laying snow! We made it to Charing Cross just as the boards all changed to 'cancelled'. Ended up drinking in a very trendy gay bar as it was one of the only places open, paying 10 quid for a beer just to keep out of the snow while we waited to see if the night bus would still run. A proper adventure!
  3. I think I was in London for that one. Ended up taking a night bus back to Catford, then a taxi to Dartford, then driving home very slowly on the M2. Left the venue at 10pm, got in at 6am. I have a photo somewhere of me punching the air outside my front door!
  4. 100% managed to convince my boss I need to be in a different room so I have access to a window, the one I am in currently has none.
  5. The front that is just coming in over the Isle of Grain doesn't seem to be losing intensity. Next 20 minutes will be fascinating.
  6. It's quite spectacular isn't it? As per usual for all the models and best ideas, the sea does it's own thing.
  7. Radar between 9:55 and 10:00 is a sudden change. Looks like that cold air just hit properly. METO changing the warning is interesting, this could be a fun few hours...
  8. Goes to show how marginal this is. I am in GIllingham, I recognise that street, probably 4 minutes from my door yet we have nothing!
  9. Look on the bright side, the longer we go without proper snow, as painful as that is, the better the averages turn in our favour for a white out!
  10. Zilch in Gillingham this morning, woke up about 2am and 4am but nothing out there. Looks like a classic SE centric event to me, some areas going to do well and 5 minutes up the road nothing at all.
