    I think it depends who is right. UKMO fancy rain, GFS and icon fancy snow GFS fancy snow from about 1am for at least 8 hours..

    Looking at the latest met office I’m not feeling it for overnight now. I got a strong suspicion we are in for rain.

    Interesting how a few of the runs seem to want more rain in south than snow.

    I certainly agree an all day snowfall could happen. Even if it turns to rain in the evening by the time we wake up Thursday the ice will be just as difficult as the snow was.

    Just checked the Met and they have brought the snow for me up to 1am. Even light snow 1-8am would be a decent cover.

    It's a bizarre situation when Kent has better prospects from a Northern topple than the midlands.

    Depends where you are in the country, for North Kent for instance it is not unknown for moisture to picked up over the estuary and drop when it gets over us in that kind of situation

    Massive push, has gone from light falling snow for Kent to coverage and moved much further north. 12z runs here we go

    Just been scrolling through the metreociel runs.... really not looking good for Kent.

    It's all on the 12Z now. If that comes good I will have some faith, but I have had my hopes dashed too many times in recent winters.

    For those of you tracking it in Kent. We now stand at - 00 and 06 runs support snow from 3am Met office forecast rain BBC saying sleet Apple weather saying snow So basically it’s going to be weather of some sort.

    I think I need to take a break till the 12z, even the pub run now..!

    METO push it up to snowfall from 3am tomorrow, BBC roll it back to rain... Fun times.

    I have to be honest, I am focusing entirely on my own back yard at the moment.

    That's nearly 12 hours solid on Kent.. If this plays out and it turns to rain overnight Wednesday the ice conditions Thursday will be horrific.

    It looks to be moving your way about 7-9am tomorrow.

    06 like a dog with a bone, doesn't want to let go of the south getting snow. Timing of around 3am is interesting, could cause major disruption as people wake up to it.

    GFS 06 still going for snow coming into Kent up to north Kent by 3am tomorrow then gradually moving up into Suffolk over the next few hours.

    With the new Met warnings this is looking like what they are leaning into. 06Z will be massive today, could break hearts or build confidence.

    Christ that is some extension. Wording also much stronger.

    Almost all the charts for the south east have been wrong for the past 24 hours, it will be interesting to see if they can redeem themselves. The GFS12Z still fancies heavy snow overnight for most of the south...
