yes I noticed when I nipped out to get paper from shop it was snowing very surprised was lethal this morning with sheet ice everywheresnowing here after starting as rain

Yes I agree with you but it has been awful an hour ago we had a clear skies snow what was left freezing frost shining in the moinlight lovely and wintry then it clouds over and starts raining washes it all away load of tosh if you ask meYeah, I don't get it myself. You've got to laugh at comments like "nothing wintry in the foreseeable" when it's -5C outside and frosty. Is frost and cold not "wintry" weather?
The netweather term "coldie" is a misnomer, as most "coldies" are actually "snowies".
I'm a true "coldie", a lack of snow really doesn't bother me, as long as it's cold, and preferably sunny by day and frosty by night.

Its raining here now this winters been 100% worse than last year at least it was exciting I like a good old wind storm a nice dry mild spell would be ok for me at least after the spells of north westerlys I was hoping for a northerly which we got but its been horrible cold rain/sleety mush rant over lol

there must of been a small warm sector cause it was going sleety then stopped but picked right up again and its going whiteLots of ppn forming out to sea, just hope it falls as snow to boost the small amount we have left...temp back down to 0degC...
-
Started up again heavy Turing white all over where bits melted in that lull
-
I think we need a clear slot to bring temps down a bit still on right side of marginal (just) it's just annoying that the temps were rising after we started at near perfect conditions its stopped snowing
-
It's like the snows coming in waves slows right down then picks up againRadar has us under snow but nothing at minute
