  1. Ive stopped looking through the window full stop, since the neighbour across the road asked me what was happening the previous day as he had seen me looking intently out of the window...when I told him he looked at me like I was some weirdo lol Its not looking great for Tues/ Weds Scotland look to get it but theres talk of it petering out before it gets anywhere near us.

haha that's exactly what happened with me theres a main road near and neighbour asked me and looked at me gone out he though there was some accident on road lol
  2. Pretty much same as here which would be perfect for snow to fall and settle. There is just no shower activity on this northerly wind which is really disappointing. Fingers crossed for the rest of the week.

It's been like this thru the cold spell perfect conditions for snow but no ppn then last two days loads of ppn but to warm annoying.com
  3. Guys.... Seriously... Dont you view the models?

Theres growing support for a deep low to our northeast and a huge possibility of a cold spell with plenty of snow in the mix. Ok its still fi but theres currently a clear growing trend towards this.

yes mushy it does look good all tho fi I think some people forget some of the best snowfalls in recent times have been February we've had no snow here at all since 2013 disappointed yes but dusted down and moved on

  4. Another abomination of a winter

Last winter was a 0 out of 10

This winter only just beats it 1 out of 10

    DREADFUL

As a fan of weather esp extreme weather at that last winter was much better than this one we have had more frosts this year but it stops there it may all change as February still to come and Feb 4/5th 2012 was prob one of the best snow events I've seen here since I've moved to east coast so that could happen again

  5. The pre sleet conditions are what we currently have here. Road, grass and cars sparkling nicely. Perhaps missing out would be better if it means we will loose the cold frosty conditions.

yeah I'm with you on that been a cracking cold sunny day here it's currently -2.0c and dew point -3.7c
  6. Think that's pretty much it looking at radar. Also tues weds next week looks very poor for us. Looks like a decaying front that breaks up rapidly. Ah well we always have the solar minimum going into 2017. That should bring some fun and games regarding our winters in future. But after what proved so much earlier in the week has gone out with abit of a whimper.

plenty of time it's a lot of nowcasting I was a bit down last night after 18z gfs but at work today we had couple snow showers (wasn't expecting there the best ones) and I'm practically at sea level :))
