Snowing here but it’s pretty wet snow not sure how long it’ll last as it looks like the upper temps are on the rise overnight

Just watched the white shower clouds moving away to my SE we can only have missed that one by a few miles where as last night we seemed to be in the prime position. The wind is to Northerly now to bring the showers far enough inland

Nice and seasonal looking this morning not a bad start to winter

Back home now at Straiton and it’s snowing here but quite wet snow. Looking like the snow level is around 100+ metres if you are exposed to the coast

Just cold rain in Edinburgh city centre the NE influence is probably too warm coming off the sea. Inland and areas with modest height will see snow

It appears the showers will pep up for a few hours this evening in our area, fingers crossed. Probably the wind switching more NE will be moving the showers further west also as far as West Lothian. Hopefully not sleet

It’s irrelevant for the sake of 15ft lol He lives in a prime position for snow anywhere above 1000ft will be guaranteed something if the precipitation is there -

Nothing secured at this stage could all still change, but on a positive note it’s heading in the right direction -
I’m back for the winter rollercoaster, is it going to be another winter of sleety pish or are we going to see a cold North easterly with snow showers packing in. Fingers crossed for the latter even if it takes until February

Most of the precipitation seems to move south to the west of Edinburgh, West Lothian should see the heaviest snow showers from the band

Sleet fest here I’m not too downbeat as wasn’t expecting anything much today to be fair, Pentland hills looked to have a good covering

A definite bit of wintriness in the rain in Edinburgh city centre now but overall a cold wet miserable day

The snow shield works better here than the rain shield I’m not confident we will see any lying snow away from hills in Edinburgh and surrounding areas
