It’s been a poor winter full stop for snow in the central belt,,,I can only count 3 maybe 4 snow events the whole winter and at best about 3 inches of snow

Why is this is acceptable for a model discussion page, I’m finding this very frustrating that I have had comments deleted in the past. The above is nothing to do with model runs, total bias on this page!!!! -
Weather warning issued for Saturday a high ground event which was expected, a snow to rain event on lower ground snow mostly over 200m

100% agree with you I think the weekend is going to be a high ground event if anything sleet in Edinburgh for sure. As for this afternoon and evening the shower track forecast appears very similar to last night with most of the activity through the Forth valley so places west of the here may get a wee surprise

Just a mere dusting here last night all the snow showers seemed to be in North Edinburgh last night, would be nice to see at least a few showers later on

The problem with the Met office app is it changes so often and probably hasn’t caught up with the latest charts yet, probably not going to know where we stand until tomorrow night
