  1. I’m really surprised that people are shocked about the milder solutions showing up now, La Niña winters tend to be front loaded so very much expecting the rest of this winter to be milder with transitional cold snaps
  2. About a inch has fallen here but it’s more sleety rain now, enjoy all you guys who get the heavy snow today
  3. Yeah have to agree this cold spell has not been the best from a snow perspective, we’ve managed a couple of inches here but it’s been mostly marginal events overall Absolutely bitter out there tonight though
  4. I know it’s a while away but this is a nice chart for Boxing Day, a Scandi high and a beast coming in from the east now those uppers look cold Yes please Santa
  5. Usual slush fest for us with the flow coming off the warmer sea had the uppers been a degree or 2 lower we would’ve been ok. Onto the next cold spell
  6. Snowing here and settling although it is on the wet side compared to this morning but I’m not complaining it’s snow after all If we hold onto the precipitation it looks more favourable later as the dew point drops back again ️
  7. Hopefully the sleety front changes it’s mind and doesn’t cross here later and wash away the 2 inches of Snow we currently have
  8. Heavy Snow at Straiton and settling quickly Looking like rain and sleet later when the warm sector arrives so will enjoy the snow while it lasts
  9. Thanks for the detailed information. So looking like a sleet fest until the early hours of Sunday when conditions look more favourable assuming there is still precipitation around
  10. Is this likely to be more marginal on low ground with sleet rather than snow?
  11. Fantastic charts keeps the cold locked in,,dry yes but there will always be surprises somewhere for some snowfall
  12. Snowing in Edinburgh City Centre ️ Update,,,,heavy snow now and settling
  13. Looking good for a snowfall this morning in the Central belt, looking like the front intensifies after crossing the forth
  14. Could be a few flurries rush hour tomorrow morning in the central belt if the trough coming in from the North overnight doesn’t fragment to much
  15. how is it a flop? It’s still a cold chart might even bring the North of the country more into play
  16. Seriously! this is by no means set in stone massive changes can occur in 9 days. It could all end up in France or further North into Scotland
