Not according to mad thread. Now expected to not even hit the UK but go into France. Expectations for down here have been over hyped yet again. -
Well looking at predicted totals for down here hardly worth raving about is it. Expectations gone right out the window today. Cold yes snowy disruption like we was told. No.

Biggest lesson for me over all this never tell anyone you know and sort yourself out only. People's attitudes are not worth the hassle.

Met office only giving out light flurries for South and west. Everyone I've told we could get snow are now laughing. Absoluty nothing still showing on apps for South coast. Met office should be fined by every member of the public if we end up getting snow.

Those charts will be off the mark models will probably be programmed with that bias. Also doesn't account for convection.

Why the hell are we now not getting proper warnings about this! I've been laughed at all day from customers I'm trying to warn. I'm sorry but this needs to be on the news to warn as many as possible.

Just had the weirdest experience at work no joke. A 90+ year old women who I do work for just grabbed my hands staring at me in eyes and saying to prepare myself and family for extreme snow as she can "feel" it coming! She looked demonized! Very very odd. Freaked me right out considering she's not seen any charts.

Totally agree that's what my thoughts were usually the sit on the fence far longer the fact they even mention the snow word so far out is big eye opener.

Think it's a pretty safe bet to tell your grannies now. Don't think this is changing for our location just snow totals are the finer details now but don't see anyone missing out to be fair.
