  6. Today reminds me of one of those better days of August 2008. Dry but still a lot of cloud around.
  7. Never really been keen on the dislike/disagree button as it can be used for petty/spiteful reasons. Having said the like button can be used for spiteful reasons such as liking everyone’s post in a thread but deliberately missing out someone.
  8. Wettest summer month since August 2020 now and if it surpasses that total, it will be the wettest since June 2012.

  10. No, June 1985 and 2023 are poles apart and July 1985 looks like ending up a better month overall than this July. If August 2023 is an exact repeat of August 1985.......
  11. Wettest July now since 2010 That dry period seems an age ago. It actually ended around the 9th of June, three weeks of no rain up to that point.

  13. It was pretty decent but did have a poor mid month. It only reached 14°C on the 16th August 1990

  15. June ended up not being that especially dry anyway. Local variations as always but June 2015 has a lower rainfall total than June 2023 for England and Wales.
