    I've been watching that too. It's certainly expanding and heading our way. I feel a few more surprises are to come tonight!

    It definitely will not make it here. It's already showing signs of fragmenting and as soon as it gets caught in the flow of the low pressure it will head west north west towards northern Dorset, then it will die a death.

    I very much doubt that band will head north, it's been hugging the coast all day!

    Game over now, fragmenting more and more. Also, it will get caught in the flow as the low pulls away to the south west. This area of precipitation in Sussex will now gradually pull away to the south west.

    I think not my friend. You predicted the area between Guildford, Basingstoke and Bracknell, not the south coast!

    It doesn't appear to be going anywhere. In fact it's fragmenting as it tries to progress northwestward

    The blob on the radar coming off the channel is fragmenting as soon as it leaves Sussex. I very much doubt it will make it too far north west.

    Unfortunately it looks game over for any more significant snow in our patch this week with a slight thaw each day. Oh well it was good while it lasted!

    Even if we only get 5 cm here I'll be happy as it will be falling on the 10 cm from yesterday. I'm glad those in the east are having their turn tomorrow.

    I've been thinking the same. The colder air flooding in from the east 'may' shift the track slightly west.

    Sounds good. My Dad works at Heathrow and tells me most of the snow has gone. He was amazed at the amount we have here when he got home yesterday.

    How much snow do you still have Surrey? I'm guessing it's between 10 and 12 cm's on the grass and my car here!

    I remember some of the classic 80's cold spells as a child. The snow then was special - great fun!
