  1. Yes, that is one to watch. If the low pressure slides under the block to our north east, we could get a big dumping of snow in our region! Exciting times ahead.
  2. I think anyone from a line central London east is in with a shot. Early predictions placed it further west, but it looks unlikely to move that far looking at the radar. Of course this can change, so fingers crossed :-)
  3. I'm not sure the conditions are right for freezing rain, more likely to be snow by then if it makes it that far west.
  4. It's not the temperatures, it's the fact that band of precipitation is very unlikely to move this far west. Just look at the current track, it's already pivoting south east. Just being real here.
  5. I just can't see this wrap around delivering anything but a dusting. It's just too weak and fragmented. Maybe it will pep up, but I'll be asleep by then lol
  6. As much as I hate to say it, I'm thinking a non event for the majority too :-(
  7. Temperature 2, dew point 1, here in east Berkshire. Appears to be slowly falling now.
  8. I do hope so, but the showers seem to be losing their punch now. Also, I'm surprised how high dew points still are. I guess milder Atlantic air must be in the mix with these showers.
  9. Temperature and dew point actually rising here. If those showers make it down, the best we can hope for is sleet. That's how it currently stands anyway!
  10. I agree Surrey. I think lows will undercut the block dumping loads of snow in our region from next weekend :-)
  11. Farnborough TAF now forecasting snow showers for this evening. This low may throw us some further surprises later :-)
  12. The airport TAF's are also showing showers for this area this evening :-)
  13. Agreed! I think we may be in for a few surprises tonight with this low so close. One to watch!
  14. I'm up in south Oxfordshire at the moment and the snow has turned to moderate rain :-(
  15. I'm not at work today, but snowing here in Binfield. Off to my sister's in Reading soon. Will be interesting to see if it's snowing there
  16. Does this mean the snow showers feeding in from the North Sea across most of the south is now unlikely? I'm referring to Wednesday.
  17. Still very marginal, but the dew points look in our favour towards the back end if the afternoon
  18. I hope it does stall and / or produce a wrap around. I'm just going by the latest model guidance
  19. Agreed, but there will be limited precipitation left to settle by the time the 850s are cold enough for snow. That is what I was referring to lol
