    nick sussex not are it’s a backtrack , just a different position of the low - the 850s actually go colder quicker than the 00z of the back of the initial low. Hopefully the ENS upgrade the snow chances - but knowing our luck it will backtrack as we move closer!!

    daz_4 Id say this mean is interesting, as are many ENS, and a SSW on the horizon again. Lots to play for. And the UKMO at 168, that looks very good to me!! Oh, and the ECM at 168 looks good. Lots to work out at the surface but certainly heading cold. And those crazy op runs are less than a week away!

    Control is a pretty crazy chart and good for the south On a more neg front the mean has lost that snow signal for most!! On to tomorrow!!

    ️️ Fergie is a sad loss to this forum , however this is obviously getting v interesting now!! CLEARLY - it could all change in the next day or 2, but it’s clear someone will get a pasting next week - could be high ground up north , could be low ground down south - by Monday night we may start having a good idea

    Some Amber warnings possible if (still a big if) this was true - I’m quietly confident for some snow IMBY to be fair SE in the mix too, huge amount of snow opportunities on this run

    BarnetBlizzard that precip mean is way more important than a UKMO at 168, not sure why the negativity!! To hate a mean at day 7 showing snow is quite some signal

    goosey007not ignoring the UKMO, the UKMO only goes to 144 at the minute - I’m looking at 168/180 ish!! Let’s see what the UKMO 168 looks like and the GEFS !! The GEFS had MEAN snowfall and -8c uppers the last run by T180 - hopefully the same again

    The low on the 06z EC Control Is certainly further south than on the previous run!! And better heights into Labrador

    Cold and snowy looking ECM at day 216, by now the north of England and Scotland mostly white too!!

    T144 mean, that low sinking south quite a lot at such short range - I expect the south will be in the action on many ENS into the weekend

    3 days of constant snow on this run for the north no doubt it’ll move about over the next few days but good to see the possibilities

    Looking great fir the north late next week, hopefully then better further south by the weekend as the cold digs south
