  1. surprised not more thoughts about next weeks possible heat? and this is GFS the most Atlantic model
  2. yeah, this setup seems more typical of May, where Scotland often gets best weather with the east winds
  3. misty low cloud from the north sea tomorrow, for NW Midlands looks very likely, could feel cool under it as well
  4. yes, I think west midlands, and as you say east coast will struggle with north sea mist Tuesday, bbc kind of showing it as well
  5. cumulus infill, really only clear sky setup is easterly winds, Apr to may, but our areas then cloudy due to north sea mist
  6. but hasn't later in week upgraded? looking maybe 23-25C, where as earlier in week was looking pants, if anything models been upgrading the fine spell
  7. for fun, but bank holiday chart! plume nearly 40° in france but of course I don't believe 384 charts unless they're showing Atlantic air
  8. and people say I exaggerate! by saying Atlantic air to dominate winter with floods, gales and record warmth
  9. good to see you back William! yes thunderstorms possible Tue/Wed, Wed now looking more likely and hottest day
  10. amazed at GFS only predicting 22C for my location for tuesday! looks warmer than that, or maybe because it's too late for real heat
  11. unusual day, virtually clear skies for 3 hours off a westerly, not expecting it to last though
  12. you're in South nick! been good summer there, but members north of Birmingham had it rough windy and westerly
  13. everyone different, but cooler and wetter make pollen allergies worse for me, normally fine the hotter and drier it is, normally starts after Wimbledon, through to early Sept
  14. not me Mark, I'm aware that the models underestimate the Atlantic
  15. know someone going tomorrow from Walton, Stafford, great timing for weather 26C, where I'll be stuck under 17C and grey
  16. thing is, models always seem to underestimate the Atlantic, mostly in winter, but August is an Atlantic dominated month
