Everything posted by I remember Atlantic 252

  1. wind switched round to NW, better fresher direction, but no storms as surely this means front passed
  2. nothing here either! miss out here I think, bring on cooler temps, 21-22C forecast for next few days, perfect temps
  3. yes, same places will get storms tonight, the same places that see snow off Atlantic breakdown, reminds me of that location wise, south missing out
  4. signs around hour ago, altocumulus castellanus to my SW, now just patchy spreading north, expecting a wet morning tomorrow, maybe thunder too, prime spot here
  5. I'm sure SS will be on every 5 minutes like he is every day pmsl! reminding everyone of temps! how can you be on here that often, ya know with work etc!
  6. today is like Tues 30th June last year, and tomorrow like Wed 01 Jul? most storms then missed me to the north and west
  7. not a lot of difference is there really! 34 or 35° whatever, makes no difference pmsl, far too hot
  8. been monitoring horrible Sunday washout, 4th run on the bounce now to show it, I know the drill by now, dry Sat night, Wet Sunday, dry Sunday night
  9. yes, my predictions as well, GFS underdoing temps, Wed looks like 31° as well, maybe 37° for the far east of the UK
  10. Isn't it a repeat of last Wimbledon, plume event also on a Tues/Wed, 30th June/01 July? reminds me so much of that
  11. more like a 'warm sector' day, cold front still to our north, hope it's not wet tomorrow
  12. I'm not a heat fan, but would make a change to have it, suppose I am happy for Frosty etc as well! so not moaning about it yet, as it looks like just 1-2 days here
  13. felt like 0ct here at lunch time, never known a July day at 1pm to feel that cold, but now warm front moved through and now in TM air
  14. same days of week and reminds me of June 30th and 1st July last year, plume timed for tue/wed, then much cooler Thurs, model I think underestimating temps, will definitely be 30C in South
  15. today sort of day of 2 halves, morning felt like April with cold wind, but now wind gone much warmer, feels more like summer
  16. just need to get rid of this horrid NW'ly, worst wind direction here, so prone to rain from the Cheshire gap, washout yesterday, today rain at times morning, tomorrow looks wet as well, thank heavens change due Friday autumn mornings as well, could see breath this morning just before 8am
  17. yes Frosty, certainly get them out if these runs come off! looks a seriously hot day that
  18. cheshire gap day, and tomorrow/thurs, be lucky to see any dry weather here before Friday, and sunshine non existant here with a NW flow, right on the Cheshire Gap
  19. yes, just missed me to the north, think it was as far south as Stoke/Newcastle
  20. GFS right again most likely, my favoured Atlantic model, we are Atlantic
  21. but then we have things warming up after, and hopefully sunny, but you wouldn't post these charts
  22. yes and polar maritime annoying, always cherry picks cold/wet charts on MOD, not sure if it's to wind the summer fans up
