    Agree on both points. Ukmo T168 for me illustrates your last point. For our hobby of looking at output it can’t be any more interesting with so much going on and variables on a cold theme. T144 plus will be fi for a while and T24 will be fi when looking at detail at some points.

    The reason we need to wait imo is why is ecm 850’s more likely than gem or gfs? I’m not being critical of what you are saying just pointing out that we don’t know.

    Made the mistake yesterday evening at looking at T192 plus charts in micro detail. I don’t usually do that. The difference between yesterday ecm and today’s is why I shouldn’t. As I say a good morning in seeing the ecm T168.

    T168 all 4. never going to be the same but on the same page from a nhp pov.

    We are looking at every detail on a 10 chart and it’s hard not to. I’m doing as much as many but we must remember it’s day 10. T144 and T168 WERE MUCH BETTER. We should be happy with that.

    I’m fairly sure as you can be at this point that there will be reports of falling snow especially in the se. Not significant amounts. There maybe some on the south coast and trust me that is not a non event for these parts.

    Would that not be expected if lows are to approach from the west, south west? Some getting all the way through, some not making it and some sliding underneath the cold? I’d appreciate your thoughts as I respect your analysis.

    Completely agree. This was one of a few posts and my reply was to a post that had screenshots of output that didn’t have the cold in. Hopefully that makes sense.
