How's North Lincs looking, surprised to see a dusting here already when I thought our only hope was possibly in the early hours.
-
Scunny, North Lincs had the occasional snow flurry today. Nothing crazy but it's nice to see some white stuff falling from the sky.
Tomorrow looks questionable for this region. Some models have this location on the cusp of snow. Some just rain with a greater potential late in to Thursday and early hours Friday.
I'd love a snow day / night but just get the feeling it will be wet and cold .... again .

23:39 attempting to sleep and I've just been disturbed by a flock of geese flying over...
Surely escaping the incoming freeze
And feet of snow
-
Which run is the best for maybe not getting the white Xmas but bringing the BIGGER chance of either going into the freezer (I'll take a cold fridge ) and bringing a better snow event or prolonged cols spell

Where ? That is the question, - but somewhere south of the Humber to Mersey Line is my guess.
MIA
South of the Humber?
Please be Scunny
PLEASE BE SCUNNY

So the upgrade in cold has downgraded our snow risk.
So, if the cold air doesn't sink as far south as it has this would allow the precipitation to move further east and in to Yorkshire and Ze Humber ?
So, still a possibility

Went out about 30 minutes ago
Easily 5cm of snow ❄ since 7pm
Unbelievable
Not expected
Makes it even better especially after the underwhelming development of Monday..

It was forecast on Euro4
Its forecast to die down either 11 or 12
What is the science in all this?
Whats changed?
Deeper cold?
Change in wind direction?
Why I love weather

The only way to get to nursery today was by sled...
A nice amount of snow in Scunny now..
Enough for fun but nothing causing any havoc on the roads (back roads aren't great)
Easily pushing 10cm I'm the park but this was on grass so who knows..

Foggy and wet in Scunny . Been light rain since late afternoon with temperatures hovering around 1.5 degrees to 2 ..
Had about an inch of snow over night, the perfect stuff for snowmen and snowballs
All that's left now is a slushy mess.
Definitely feeling warmer (obviously not tropical) compared to the last few days
This cold spell is over for now but still praying for a Christmas miracle
Waking up on the day with snow falling and a good covering would be amazing. But I like many know that the probability for this is sadly unlikely...
