  1. No, and it depends where you live, this is the North East of England for example.

I love all things weather but I'm not massively clued up like everyone in here. Love reading and waiting with anticipation (just hoping we get something that resembles winter)

I've said before that me been on here and reading all these posts is like watching a foreign movie but without the subtitles.

I love it even though most of IT goes way over my head lol

Anyhow less interruptions from me and back to the weather ....

  2. I know this is a rather reactionary idea but why not consult the professionals?

I'm much happier (as I have done for the last couple of years ) getting feedback on the potential weather from the experts (or knowledgable people) of this forum. No ones questioned me asking before and and everyone previously has been extremely helpful. I love all things weather but my knowledge of understanding all that is posted is not great. And last year the info I received from here was amazing and spot on as a lot of the professional forecasters predicted rain and cloud cover! Well tell that to my sunburnt legs!!!! Exactly as I was told on here hot and dry with potentially one or two showers ! (2 very brief showers)

  3. Hey folks.

Not posted for a while. It's festival time for me this weekend. Getting on the decks at party in the pines in north lincs.

Any chance of an update in idiot terms so I can understand and then pass on to the 1500 + people attending.

It's been a great read for this up and coming weekend but with people camping I would like to warn them to wrap up if it's gona get cold.

Appreciate the help (if I get some ;) )

  4. Many of the local villages around scunny on the bank of the Trent have been affected by flooding.

I've never seen anything like it locally in my lifetime and my work is in the village of Gunness on the Trent bank ( pump house for Tata steel) and speaking to many older workers they have never known anything like it! I'm just hoping it's not all been wrecked otherwise it could be a massive blow for the steel industry in scunny. :(

  5. Right last post for me regarding Saturdays weather

Would anybody mind giving me a quick written summary for Saturdays weather for scunny

(North lincs) so I can copy and paste on the forum regarding the festival I'm attending

Precipitation chart n temp pic would be lovely as well :)

    Appreciate it

    Many thanks

    Tim x

  6. Right so Saturday looks like temperatures of about 25 degrees in scunny with the possibility of light showers clearring as the day progresses. Amazing how many of the sites 5-7 day forecasts show different things (from no rain to rain all day to the odd afternoon shower)

Thanks for keeping me updated and please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hoping everything goes well for PARTY IN THE PINES music festival this Saturday (day/night)

  7. Are we any closer to knowing the outcome of this weekends weather?

Just briefly gone through many online 7 day forecasts and most are showing different to each other. Is it going to rain or is it going to be mainly dry and warm?

Myself and another 899 people in scunny who are attending the PARTY IN THE PINES festival are waiting with anticipation!!!!
