What is an undercut?
It's a very bad haircut from the 90's
(Sorry couldn't resist)

Yup
Needed that easterly that was showing yesterday for next week but that seems to have turned into a damp squib !!!

Frosty , I absolutely love your positivity and hope !Let's be positive, last Xmas the models were diabolical with no end in sight to the technically mild, very wet and windy filth but now we have growing support for a much colder and increasingly blocked outlook with undercut potential. I'm going to enjoy Christmas even more now.
I'm just finding IT difficult to follow on here because for every 4 comment favouring the cold there is then 1 or 2 comments taking it away!
Appreciate that nobody knows and there is still a massive chunk of winter to come.

As a relatively newbee I'm so lost in the tooing and froing of all the opinions and results from the different models.

When's the next ecm run folks
Can't believe the last 24-48 hours
Great fun and Great reading
Keep it going folks

No, and it depends where you live, this is the North East of England for example.
I love all things weather but I'm not massively clued up like everyone in here. Love reading and waiting with anticipation (just hoping we get something that resembles winter)
I've said before that me been on here and reading all these posts is like watching a foreign movie but without the subtitles.
I love it even though most of IT goes way over my head lol
Anyhow less interruptions from me and back to the weather ....

I'm taking that the lack of charts for the 25th -28th is basically saying that all has changed and we are now in search for the next potential cold blast?

Thanks very much
Keep up the great work on here
Love reading all the updates

I'm much happier (as I have done for the last couple of years ) getting feedback on the potential weather from the experts (or knowledgable people) of this forum. No ones questioned me asking before and and everyone previously has been extremely helpful. I love all things weather but my knowledge of understanding all that is posted is not great. And last year the info I received from here was amazing and spot on as a lot of the professional forecasters predicted rain and cloud cover! Well tell that to my sunburnt legs!!!! Exactly as I was told on here hot and dry with potentially one or two showers ! (2 very brief showers)I know this is a rather reactionary idea but why not consult the professionals?

Hey folks.
Not posted for a while. It's festival time for me this weekend. Getting on the decks at party in the pines in north lincs.
Any chance of an update in idiot terms so I can understand and then pass on to the 1500 + people attending.
It's been a great read for this up and coming weekend but with people camping I would like to warn them to wrap up if it's gona get cold.
Appreciate the help (if I get some )

Many of the local villages around scunny on the bank of the Trent have been affected by flooding.
I've never seen anything like it locally in my lifetime and my work is in the village of Gunness on the Trent bank ( pump house for Tata steel) and speaking to many older workers they have never known anything like it! I'm just hoping it's not all been wrecked otherwise it could be a massive blow for the steel industry in scunny.

Warm humid day in sunny scunny today.
27 degrees with a 72% humidity (feels sticky but I've payed footy a 11am and still hot after that after putting on my man cream lol)
Dew point or 20 degrees
All in all a great day and occasionally a nice slight breeze
-
Amazing that the rain risk has increased for Saturday for scunny
Again I will say that this just shows how hard it is to predict the forecast when it changes ever 12 hours lol
-
Frosty thanks for keeping me posted. Really appreciate all the answers to my long list of questions.

Thanks frosty,
Those rain charts for Saturday (@3pm) is that total rainfall for that day up to then?
I like the fact there is non around sunny scunny . (If this is the case)

Any change with Saturday weather in north lincs?
By some miracle is it going to be dry ?
-
Right so Saturday looks like temperatures of about 25 degrees in scunny with the possibility of light showers clearring as the day progresses. Amazing how many of the sites 5-7 day forecasts show different things (from no rain to rain all day to the odd afternoon shower)
Thanks for keeping me updated and please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hoping everything goes well for PARTY IN THE PINES music festival this Saturday (day/night)

Are we any closer to knowing the outcome of this weekends weather?
Just briefly gone through many online 7 day forecasts and most are showing different to each other. Is it going to rain or is it going to be mainly dry and warm?
Myself and another 899 people in scunny who are attending the PARTY IN THE PINES festival are waiting with anticipation!!!!

Morning folks. Any change for this Saturday?
Even waking up after a night shift (finishing at 6am) at this time all because of the bloody weather forecast for Saturday and the fear its going to be a wash out!
You can tell I don't get out much lol
