Didn't look great for North Lincs
Then the showed shower activity tomorrow been blown in on a more south easterly pushing showers more north above the humber in North East Yorkshire

Just now, Barking_Mad said:
To be fair they did say 10 to 20 cms in some places. It will feel very cold as you say -16c with windchill is pretty cold. The model thread sadly does have way too much signal to noise in it.
Yep I'm sure Countryfile forecast stated certain depths as well
-
Don't think I'll see snow fall in scunny ever again like we had in 2010
40+cm
Snow on the ground for weeks
-
Nothing more than a very light dusting in North Lincs
Everytime I check for tomorrow's low it seems to get further and further away from the Scunny area
After watching the Countryfile forecast my hopes were kind of high for the most significant snowfall since 2010 (obviously nothing like that though)
I'm now not convinced that Scunny or North Lincs will see much snow action at all
This beast is far from beastly lol

Could someone clear up the latest predictions for this Saturday in North lines region
Involved in a festival
Desperate for dry weather
Warm would be great (mid 20's lol)
But just happy with rain free
-
Thanks for the responses
I believe today's charts have seriously downgraded
Anyhow dry is key for me lol
Would be great to get the big temperatures but anything around 29 degrees and dry would be spot on
-
Devastated
I really do hope it's a wobble
I'm not fussed about 30 degrees but mid 20's and dry is a must for North lincs next Saturday
-
Would the outcome of this heat just create speradic thunderstorms or are they likely to to follow some sort of structure / pattern
I can not believe what the weather could be possibly like next Saturday for the festival I'm involved
Extremely excited
-
So has anyone got the latest model run / forecast for Saturday 6th June
Involved in a festival in North lincs
The last few days have shown high pressure and dry weather but from what I've read today it's all gone belly up
Please could someone update me
-
With my festival on the Saturday 6th June how are we looking for North Lincs
Appreciate this is a discussion on models but with the day getting closer the nerves are setting in and I really hope it's not a wash out
Many thanks

Well we had a spell of snow in scunny
Greasy sign that things are all set up for some snow
Just need some more precipitation now
Don't hog it too long Yorkshire, send it our way
-
BBC has it reasonable for Scunny
But I will believe it when I see it !
Snow lasting through the night and into tomorrow morning (mid morning) then starting up again Thursday evening ! !
West Yorkshire looks very good

So Yorkshire and humber region now in Amber according to met office tweet but yet the map still shows us in yellow
Anyone know the snow dance ?
-
Well it's been a very wet and windy morning in scunny
Some very strong gusts as that first band of rain moved in!
Broken cloud now and temperature dropping off already
Hope everywhere dries out and the fingers crossed we get some of the snow tonight and tomorrow morning
-
BBC forecast looks rather poor for most !
Peak District area getting the best deal.
By the time it reaches East if the region it's early morning and seems to be rain!
Oh well hopefully February brings a bit more of the white stuff to our region
-
Hi Lincstim
Thats the met office website I used. You will be able to put your location in and then click on each day which has a tab. It will then give you hourly forecasts like I showed in the pic
Thanks
Just checked out scunny and it's very poor
-
