  1. Can't wait either....love it. The longer and colder the better!
  2. Freezing cold or cool, icy, snowy, dry most of the time. Anything cool or cold. Warm or hot is very uncomfortable and pretty boring too!
  3. Ahhh lovely. My favourite seasons are upon us. Lovely cool air, bit of rain, bit of wind darker nights, then into the most interesting weather season of all, lovely, lovely winter.....let's hope it's a corker. As long as it's cool/cold I'm happy.
  4. Autumn and winter are lovely seasons...cool or cold most of the time, fresh and clean..hopefully we'll get a good winter this year. Even if it's average it'll still be cool and fresh..none of the stuffy mild rubbish .hopefully.
  5. Let's hope for cold all the way through winter, especially some of those CFS anomaly charts! Lots of snow and frosts. Cool in the run up will do me. If it doesn't come off then there's always the next one. As long as the heat doesn't come back it'll be fine....the colder the better.
  6. Haven't had the heating on since about Feb. It will stay off as long as possible. Even now I'm sat next to an open window. and it's 12 degrees outside..love cool nights.
  7. Nothing...but I think it's time for a good old Autumn hunt.. Let's shift this Summer thread out of the way and move on.
  8. Nice and sunny this morning but with a lovely noticeable chill from a lovely light breeze! Also feeling cooler at night too
  9. Autumn seemed to turn up early last year especially where i live so i'm thinking a largely settled month with quite a bit of high pressure involved leading to a later change to the new season. 15,5c
  10. Enjoyed the model discussion this last couple of weeks, no need for the bickering, no one owns the weather...we should all enjoy it whatever the weather..this is why the British weather is so interesting, it's so changeable, it can turn on a pin.....we'll all get our turn at our favourite temps.
  11. I remember seeing the satellite image of Britain covered with snow....everywhere was white...great image. Same time i took this picture of my avatar<<
  12. Yeah...probably December 2010 too....playing in the garden with the kids...first time they'd seen real, heavy snow....and it lasted! A real white Christmas....perfect.
  13. No snow at all this event. Not really bothered. getting tired of the cold gloominess now...want some warmth and brightness. Hopefully we'll go straight to summer in the next few weeks..
  14. Nothing here .....small scattered flakes....pretty dry and cold... Looks like us unlucky ones have missed this event...never mind
