Don't normally post on here but as an Isle of Wight resident I find this model malarkey very frustrating.
It's going to get cold over the next week for sure, but all I'm hoping for is an occasional dusting so anything more than that is a bonus. Every time snow is mentioned people always say to me - yeah but we won't get any.

Arreton resident here.
As you know us islanders are allways the last to see snow. Overall I would say we are in with a chance but I won't be happy until I see lying snow outside.For sure its gonna get real chilly next week though.

Same here in horringford mate. Sound is unreal. Supposed to get worse by midnight !Worst this winter. Howling like a banshee here on SW coast of the IOW. Awesome!

morning cyclonic. I think its going to be an interesting evening/night for us islanders. Wroxall weather has given us force 12 gust for most of the night with sustained winds of f8 to f10. Ive only got two roof tiles missing but I reckon that could increase over night !

I know specific timing is hard to nail down but I'm travelling to work at 5am Saturday morning. Its only a 3 mile journey, but I'm slap bang in a very open valley in arreton the isle of wight. Any input/thoughts/opinions would be very much appreciated.

infact, can you imagine an anticyclonic storm to be 3 times the size of earth. - sorry to be off topic but i love all things space.

Hope that includes isle of Wight.
Had a nice dusting yesterday but all gone by late morning.
