  2. Am glad you have had it average as it has been Sh(t3 here.Not only has no farmers made any hay in July but none has been made so far in August with nothing on the horizon either!

  8. Yes 2023 despite it amazing spring/June is chasing down both 2008 and 2012 as the worst Summer in modern times and other than 2008 and 2012 i am struggling to find a worse Summer than 2023 since the 80's.

  16. Historically we only get two very good summers per Decade although we got three in the 80s and none in the 1960s 1955,1959,1975,1976,1983,1984,1989,1990,1995,2003,2006,2013,2018,2022.

  20. Harks back memories of 1986 which here was almost as cool,almost as wet but had a little more sunshine.

  22. August 2013 was dry but mostly cloudy here in the Pennines,2016 was average ,nothing to get excited about,2019 had a hot bank holiday but it was a wet month here.
  23. The only thing different about xmas is the daylight as the weather will be the same!
