Oh wow, that looks insane!
You should be underneath it!!! Just been out and saw some lovely C to G strikes, blue skies and sunshine to my west!

Can confirm very heavy thundery showers here, banging away as I type, really pepped up in the last hour or so. Despite being a storm lover I could do well without them and the associated rain.
-
Torrential thundery showers here, especially this afternoon, very heavy indeed, not been out to check how many mm we've had as it's still hissing down. Harvest will be on stop for a while I think, been dire.

Can see lightning to my South, circa 5-7 flashes so far, must be towards Bath way or beyond.

What physical or pressure height does that equate to?
1013 is the norm for aircraft using FL

37.5c here. Send help!
Must be unbearable, highest here I saw was 34.4 but dropped back from that now, bit of cloud cover and some rain but not a lot, just a few large drops that felt nice!

Stunning show here, went out circa 11-30 and got back in at 4, have never seen lightning like it, constant light show, like strobe lighting in a disco. Very few CG strikes which made taking pictures not easy. First storm that went through, we had no rain, we then had hail and torrential rain from another cell. A lovely lightshow

Just been out and can see clear flashes East, South and a few to my West, shall get the camera loaded and head out to one of my fields and see what develops.

Think I am going to join the "No Storms Club", a pants season so far.

So where do you reckon it will make landfall, Eastbourne or slightly east of there? Certainly going quite well now.

Yes, strike rate up over 100 now, seems to have pepped up a fair bit

An MCS/multiple storms will erupt somewhere but wont be until 1am to 3am range. The Midlands has been trying all day to erupt , we could be missing a trick here and it's actually Swindon/Bristol.further west that erupt in early hours.
I hope so!!! Sat here watching toying if to go out and chase but really want to see some signs of action near our coastline before I make a move.
-
I am hopeful here but may have to get in the car and go down the M4/M25 but will see where they head, could come more West if we're lucky, fingers crossed!!!

Convective cloud def building here, can just make it out in the semi dark.

I assume a front has gone through earlier this morning, some lovely looking lenticular type clouds but they drifted with the wind as opposed to staying in the same place, guess pre frontal wave clouds?? Sun is out (just!) hazy sky and temp is climbing.
Looking at all the warnings etc etc, not thinking I will see or hear any storms this week but will charge the camera battery just in case!
-
Grey and overcast for much of the day, rained since lunchtime, still spotting now. Not thinking we will get any storms this eve but you never know!
-
Woke to light rain here then had some hefty showers pass through, 8mm so far today, sun currently out and blowing a gale, quite warm in the sun if you can get out the wind. Takes my rain total up to 87mm since the dry spell broke.
-
Heavy thundery showers here, rain very heavy at times, had a couple of flashes/bangs so first thunder of the year heard here!
-
Yes, can confirm a couple of flashes/bangs from a heavy shower that is passing through. Only heard 2 bangs but may have missed any distant ones.

Quite a few flashes and as above very long rolling thunder (at circa 5.30) but seems to have died down now, just heavy rain.
