    Well a great little storm just passed over here. Very close, loud thunder straight after the flashes Dropped just over 12mm in about 15 mins

    Yeah just a wet horrible night here in the end. Shame as I thought it looked and felt favourable earlier. Oh well, spring tomorrow so let's hope for some useable weather soon and put this wretched winter behind us forever. I hope next winter sees better cold prospects

    Enjoy! You've got lucky, I've been to Iceland a couple of times and it's just been wet or cold both times. Not much snow. It seems to suffer the same fate as the UK most of the time next to the Atlantic. Reykjavik does anyway! Enjoy the trips, it's a lovely place

    Yes feels and looks better for tonight. Paul Hudson confident on radio Sheffield earlier that 1-2cm lower levels and more on the hills in the morning quite widely. Downside is of course it'll be rush hour which is a shame but either way I'm looking forward to hopefully getting the first laying snow of the winter tomoz. Just in the nick of time too!

    Temps down to 2.5c here now, but typically the showers are drying up just as it's cold enough to see snow. Radar looks crap

    It's terrible isn't it. Does lead me to think something has changed. I mean those in the South east without snow you can understand but here up in Yorkshire it's not normal. Last winter was rubbish too. Think only the beast from the east gave us a little bit for a day or two

    What's Thursday and Saturday looking like? If I don't see anything from those then it'll be a full meteorological winter without any lying snow at my house. That's shocking!

    Hope some of us see some snow tomoz. Probably all melted in Rotherham by time most of us are getting up but we can hope! Shame temps are up to 11c tomoz so nothing will last long anywhere unfortunately. The fast melt and rain won't help the flooding situations one bit, think that's of most concern

    90mm so far here so yes a wet month! Looks like Yorkshire has mostly escaped this time, dare I say it? Not seeing the reports of last Sunday in the news.... Wales currently under a rare red warning though so think they have the worst floods this time. I really feel sorry for them

    Squall line died before it got here, usual breakup! Looks like the frontal wave has formed and it's on its way from the SW

    Think it's all going to depend on whether we do get the frontal wave development and it heads in overnight. That is the biggest worry for rain and flooding. Let's hope it doesn't materialise! Winds picking up here a bit more now
