Simply going to be now cast isn't it. Met still showing a few hours of snow for here. It's currently 0c with dew point of -2 so you would think snow for a while at least....

I'm still hopeful for tomorrow, met office have extended the yellow snow warning down to well below us on the map so Yorkshire comfortably in it now. Graphics show 3 hours of heavy snow for me which isn't really high ground so fingers crossed!

Certainly keep an aye on things, met office website currently showing heavy snow around then to 6pm for my area which is 120m above sea level so Saturday evening could be tricky traveling around Yorkshire. Feeling confident we'll see snow falling at least everywhere for a while, which will be amazing with all the Christmas lights and decs up

Well 8 years ago to the day now since I saw my best ever snowfall in Sheffield! What happy days they were in Dec 10 ?️ Charts looking better again this morning... hope we see something wintry in the run up to Christmas

Nothing to report from here, shame but not unexpected! Dew point never really went below zero, apart from early this morning so I won't see snow in Rotherham with 2c Dews.

Yeah it's disgustingly warm and humid out there. Had enough of it now, roll on the cooler stormier 2nd half of October. Ready for autumn now! 16.7c the low was here Now over 22c

Yes it's going to be a very high total by midnight! Easily my highest record but only had my station since May

It's horrible out there. Sheffield is gridlock. Taken me nearly 2 hours to get back to Rotherham. Davis reading 48.8mm at the mo, wow! That's huge for 1 day, and it's still going up of course!

Well the forecast was abysmal. Said rain all night and all morning and ive recorded precisely 0.0mm here in Rotherham lol! Totaly wrong forecast, was hardly any rain around at all this morning

yes it was very stuffy yesterday, almost got to 30 again here too. Im glad to have a fresher few days now, feels lovely outside and not to be sweating

Nearly got to 30c today. Maxed out at 29.7 just before 6pm

Certainly the fresher air is making inroads now. Ive gone from 29.4c at 6pm to 19.7c now, so a 10c drop off in 3 hours!
