I would like to see the fog clear off now!

It's going to be an agonising wait for many, but it's better to have a small risk than nothing at all? We all have an exciting weather week coming up, some may be left disappointed and some over the moon.
We are now in the radar and reports zone....that for me is the buzz. A few miles can really make all the difference.

From now until potential mild I will be closely monitoring the radar and any written Meto forecasts.
4pm Meto key update notes:-
Tomorrow - A risk of Wintry showers to parts of the Region
Tuesday/Wednesday - Small chance of Snow Showers along the Coast (this has been modelled for a while)
It will be a shame if it's a dry but very cold spell, enjoy the ride and good luck all.

The weather in the near future looks tantalisingly, could it be maybe, you know why it proberbly will ? Sods law ,can't it see we are all skint ,but ..its who's into what ,little old lady/man freezing ,or coldies thinking yeeaa,it will get sub zero .. hard choice innit
I know what you mean!
I'm usually all for it but part of me thinks this is the year we could do without it...
But...If it's going to happen I'd rather it sooner, will make it feel Festive, Get into the New Year and we can then all start looking forward to Spring/Summer....having had our snow fix!
I've a feeling we will be looking on at our Northern and Western friends though, thinking if only!

A damp miserable start to the day, but it won't stop the Mrs pushing me up a ladder to put the Christmas lights up!!
Bit of a cool down as the week goes on, certainly feeling more seasonal.
-
No excitement regarding the next 24hrs?
-
Some brightness and blue sky to my North West but Cloud approaching to my South.
Radar watching the stuff moving across the Channel at the moment, hopefully some interesting reports come in from our South Coast members.

A damp messy start to the day here in the outskirts of Maidstone, shouldn't complain after the dry Summer we've had, but it's hard to be motivated when working outdoors in it
-
Surprised to see it so quiet in here, might be some interest on the way overnight for those to the West.
-
It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for the cloud to break in some areas this morning, with regards maximum temperature. Here it's currently cloudy and feeling humid.
Certainly some interest overnight and early doors tomorrow, much needed decent rain totals for some, also a potential storm risk, but I'll leave that to Eagle Eye and co to give more meat on the bones.
Enjoy the ride

Fine drizzle across Medway/Maidstone.

Potential for Thunderstorms Thursday? I just hot the met office don't issue a warning this time, might then get more chance of it happening

Another downpour but no thunder!!! Lol
-
Nice downpour between 4:30/5(ish) few rumbles.

I was working in Medway today (Lordswood) on a Landscape project, Had torrential downpour at about Midday, lasted 10 minutes or so, then just a few drizzle outbreaks.....felt unusually nice beig soaking wet in a T-Shirt, Shorts and work boots, but the work boots soon filled up!
Smelling rain hit the ground, lovely!
-
The one day I need the rain to hold off till Mid-Afternoon so we can get a Landscape project completed, I bet it pours hard and puts us back!!!!
Wonder if the stuff in the Channel starts to break over land or intensifys??

Towers shooting up all over the place here. Very humid.
When I drove through Medway, I looked towards Rainham/Gillingham and it looked very dark with the odd distant rumble, seems like it was over in Essex and out at Sea.
Hopefully a surprise or two pops up to start the cool down, was hard working in the heat today, the earlier breeze dropped.
-
Morning all,
Hopefully some rain and storms for some this week....
Currently a nice breeze outside.
-
Pretty much clouded up here on the outskirts of Maidstone/Medway.
Shame no rain/storms this evening to watch.... Hopefully get some over the next few days.
-
That ENE'ly breeze is really nice currently, making it less stuffy, make the most of it though!!!

Interesting how BBC and met office can be so highly contrasted with their forecasts today. BBC says its going to be sunny all day today around the Southend area, while met office has 100% cloud cover from around 2:30pm. I wonder who will be correct? I'm guessing met office unfortunately.
I've noticed this quite a bit this Summer, I find Meto underplays the heat and the BBC more accurate in terms of temperature but not so much by the Symbols.

Just caught the very end of the weather on the Beeb news channel, for tomorrow it looked like it matched Eagle Eyes chart above, especially for the North of the region.
