Cloudy, Breezy but also Humid.....looks to be a common theme with this week ahead?
-
Back to boring weather then? Lol

Some much welcomed rain yesterday evening between about 6pm-9pm, was actually quite relaxing looking out and seeing it falling on the lawn and shrubs!

Woken to wet surfaces this morning too....oh the joy

The sky looked really dodgy mid to late afternoon but we somehow missed any rain.

We seem to be caught in the Middle, stuff kicking off and moving down from the West and stuff moving up from France but too much East.
Stuck in the Middle with you(all)

The rain radar is frustrating viewing, seems to be avoiding land in the SE & E

Had a bit of rain and a few rumbles, but it's certainly done nothing to the temperature due to humidity, let alone the indoor temperature.
-
We need that rain to arrive sooner to help with these fires

Well that was an uncomfortable night's sleep. Hoping we at least get a good storm or torrential downpour after this to clear the air and then some cooler but still lovely and warm weather after.
Same here, but if the Apps are anything to go by we remain dry

Eagle Eye fabulous post above in detail...much appreciated.
I really do hope for some rain either late tomorrow or Wednesday at some point.

Really hoping for a breakdown tomorrow night into Wednesday, app not picking up much though....not seen the charts yet.

. Wednesday looks a little more active with a showery trough moving east during the day.
Chance of a decent storm with monsoon rain please?

I haven't even started work experience yet, it's next week, still been going to school this week. I'm usually fine with heat, I wore a blazer all week even though I didn't have to but I'll hate the heat next week.
Blimey, thought you was much older with your great weather knowledge....I don't mean to sound condescending in anyway.

It's amazing how some people are oblivious to what's going to go on next week.
i called a customer at lunch who we had booked in for Tuesday to lay a patio, I explained we are use to working in warm weather but Tuesday is looking exceptionally hot and would you be willing for us to move you to Saturday (we don't usually work weekends). After a lot of back and forth they accepted it!!
The garden is in direct sun, plus some digging and hard graft is involved. I'm not risking myself or other workers for money. We simply are not use to it.

I think I'll sleep in the bath Monday night!!

With my ramblings about next week, I forgot to mention how lovely it feels today with that breeze, I phoned the Mrs who is WFH still and said to her make sure you open up every window and get that house cooled whilst you can

40*c+ still very much a chance for Monday and Tuesday, would be crazy to reach that obce let alone the potential for back to back days......A slim chance but still incredible really.
Not looking forward to it personally.

I was really hoping the Peak would be Sunday or Monday, have a big job on Tuesday outside in full sun I'd be more happier working in the rain!!
