  1. That's my concern and the writing could be on the wall with that. I'm currently the otherside of the window and when the sun is out you can feel that warmth, cannot believe someone had the heating on in here! Does anyone know what the record temperature is for Christmas Day? If this continued we would surely come close to all time records once again. Just had a quick google it seems The record for Christmas Day is 15.6 deg C at Killerton in Devon in 1920
  2. Morning all. A little bit of everything this morning, slight mist in the distance which actually could be drizzle, grey clouds but some blue sky on the Horizon, again very mild. I have a feeling that we will get the cold many are after BUT our luck it'll arrive at the end of Feb just in time to mess up start of Spring and the lighter nights If we look at this afternoon for example when the sun is suppose to turn up with it being 12*c if it was March that set-up could easily give us 15*c and at that time of year in the sun it would feel very pleasant and most of us would be outside enjoying it so I really hope it doesn't turn out like this, yes we can get decent snowfall in Spring but for me it is wasted. I was looking at Mid-Month for a change but this morning I'm now not so sure so I guess it shows we have a few days to wait before we can determine our fate for the lead into Christmas.
  3. It's quite warm in the sun, I have a sweatshirt on but don't need the jacket as I strolled to the shop, had to refrain myself from stopping for a pint at the pub before going back to work lol.
  4. Certainly was here when it passed through so much so most the office were woken by it., was the topic of the morning chat before work started The noise on my conservatory roof was very very loud, doubt the neighbours were happy lol. Now I have a feeling this time next week this play will have plenty of excitement going on.
  5. Would love the buzz of a Thames streamer again here, 12.1°c and it's nearly midnight, there is only so much one can take
  6. Crikey very balmy again and another night of keeping one leg out the duvet! Annoying thing is by the Weekend it'll be mild but very wet with it ggggggrrrr could do so much more if was dry and mild even if it is just cloudy!
  7. It's a very mild night, still recorded 13°c in the car, even stepping out in ypthe breeze it didn't feel cold. Had cooler nights in Summer lol Will have a browse of the MOD thread before zzzzz it'll either send me to sleep or make me chuckle at the petty squabbles, my house is bigger than yours garbage
  8. Something looks to be brewing by Middle December, a freeze up in the week leading up to Christmas? We've experienced it before....
  9. And to think people on here was moaning because a couple weeks back it was only showing falling snow for some and not Blizzards...I for one would much prefer that excitement each week
  10. One thing I noticed is yesterday where we did have some sunny spells during the afternoon it did not start getting dark till gone 4, just shows the difference a sunny afternoon can make.
  11. What a horrible morning, rain & gloom, give me a fleeting snow shower any day of the week.
  12. So to those what wasn't getting too excited about last weekend's possible snow tease for late Autumn, do you prefer the current outlook for the end of this week instead? Does it give you with lots to talk about? I know what I prefer
  13. We had 3 bursts of decent snow falling, lasting a good 10/15mins each time. Chunky flakes at times so you must of been very unlucky indeed. I can also confirm Walderslade and Lordwood had snow also.
  14. Strange, are you right in a town or something? Move to one of the higher up places lol
  15. Your joking? have you only just woke up Lauren lol Between 8 and 8.45 there was massive flakes falling
  16. Hardly a waste of time then if you need 3 more minutes to beat last year, plus still got rest of Autumn and all of Winter yet lol
  17. The fact many of us can mark this as " Days of falling Snow 1 " is great as it's only November and still Autumn. This is very rare, History tells us that, 2010 was a exceptionally rare.
  18. proper snow now, nice too see, think we all knew it wouldnt be much. Cold Rampers 1 Doom & Gloomers 0 It's Autumn
  19. Reports from the Midlands is that it's snowing heavily but won't stick as the snow is too wet.
