    Lol Lauren this made me laugh, sounds just like my cat! Time to see if a miracle has happened with the models today, by lack of posts this evening I doubt it.

    Ben depending on how quick that lot coming along the South Coast moves you may be right about it coming through quicker than forecast suggests http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ I'm in the gap at the moment but the direct looks to put me back in line for more.

    Starting to rain here now, light at present and the wind is picking up. Further ahead next weekend might give us a storm

    Agree with the above, decent temps and usually good storms at night. Take a good camera as the light displays when a storm kicks off are great especially out across the sea and the forks lightning up the neighbouring islabds

    You should be ok for next Sunday :-D Today (Sunday) going to be utter pants like most the other Sundays this summer so far!

    One of them nights where I just cannot get back to sleep :-( On the plus side it looks like a decent sunrise is on the cards before the rain arrives mid-morning. If anyone is awake at this crazy hour & you have a decent camera get snapping :-D

    It's got the look and feel of Autumn out there..Oh well we got time to dry off tomorrow before the next lot on Sunday ..typical for a weekend! At least Monday not looking a scorcher just to rub it in

    Met office me down for 19hrs of heavy rain kicking off at lunchtime today. That's quite impressive even for a computer forecast. I'm feeling a little bit more hopefully from around Wednesday onwards?

    Really need the rain so shouldn't complain BUT why on a Friday when it's an early finish and pub garden day Plus Saturday I start building a 23x12ft decking area!! I notice Sunday not looking that great also, apart from last Sunday when the rain cleared to leave a half decent day the Sundays this summer have been rubbish imo.

    I'd like a pound for everytime the weather on a Sunday is rubbish apart from the evening when it always seems to clear up & be sunny all too late!

    Coz light travels and we was on the edge of two storms either side of us Impressive how the bolt cuts through the cloud and parts of the bolt are hidden

    That's what I'm thinking, since they put us all on the meter it's costing me loading keeping the garden looking nice, got no suitable area for a waterbutt but even my mate who's got one said his been dry for bit.

    My bedroom started off warm but I woke up at 4am and felt that nice cooling breeze coming through the window and it was heaven I'd say a very good chance 75% but expect little or nothing and then be surprised

    I think some areas will get a storm but perhaps more Northern parts of our Region as us here in the SE could be the building blocks of a good base for it, hopefully and should be after dark and we will be looking on at a good light show even if from a distance.
