  1. Shark spotted down Herne Bay lol http://www.kentonline.co.uk/herne-bay/news/shark-sighting-panics-swimmers-39460/
  2. It's forecast to be clear later and don't forget at this time of year 6pm can often be hotter than lunchtime etc
  3. Luckily still holding onto a breeze but it's getting a touch too hot for my liking now I have to admit. If I was off today and could sit in the shade with a nice cold beer I'd be happy...oh and a swimming pool too lol
  4. 27.8*c here with a decent breeze making it feel quite nice actually.....will be a sticky night I feel!! If you don't want intense heat hopefully this breeze sticks around tomorrow too.
  5. Looks like the CET will rise again over the next 2 days before dropping again. Sun starting come out here now but chilly in the shade, looks like fog will form overnight so may take a while to burn off tomorrow.
  6. Next weekend looking fairly average to me, shame as will be working Tuesday and Wednesday when the proper warmth arrives... shame
  7. Looks like it will be a foggy rush hour in a few hours. Surrey - It does look like April will end quite cool but I know what you.mean about some in the mo thread... like broken records Anyway long way off and lets enjoy these glorious Spring Days whilst we have them :-)
  8. A touch of Deja Vu today, back at work usually on a Monday and look out the office window to sunshine after a fairly cloudy weekend ( last two weeks) ..and now today on a Tuesday because of the bank holiday back to work and yet again looking out the window at glorious sunshine. So annoying and what's the betting by this weekend things will cloud up !!
  9. I'd love a fiver for every time I sit looking out at the sunshine through the office window on a Monday !!! Easter not looking that great, maybe drier as the weekend progresses but nothing that great. Hopefully warm Spring sunshine kicks off the weekend after.
  10. Same here Captain, I was expecting to wake up to dull but mild conditions but currently sunny and gorgeous outside, given me chance to tidy the garden up before heading out for some lunch, I may have to swap the Sunday Roast for the citrus salad and white bait
  11. Lovely morning here, I make it 9.8*c, it's chilly out of the sun and in the breeze but in the right spot it's a gorgeous spring day. Make most of it as tomorrow is looking bit dull and a foggy start.
  12. I'm planning a few jugs of lager down the pub....in the beer garden !! probably need a light jacket/top on but should get away with it
  13. A damp start but it's starting to brighten up. I'm looking forward seeing how warm we can get this weekend. I just hope we don't pay the price further down the line regarding late Spring/Summer weather if the mild sticks around for a while.
  14. I was every tempted to purchase some plants yesterday but like you i have a feel one bite at winter will happen, let alone some hard frosts, which to be fair frosts into early May can and have happened in the past so probably a good job I held fire. ...Just with the sun out yesterday afternoon I got into the spirit of things lol
  15. Thick Fog here since 9pm last night, couldn't see more than 20m infront & this morning looks the same so drive safely all.
  16. I would imagine that's about right looking at Wunderground observations Mesoscale. Here it's currently 8.2*c and feels slightly warmer in the Sun.
  17. Lovely day here, says 6*c but feels warmer in the sun tbh So quiet in here now compared to last week LOL...Where is all the gfuqhgfpjhing
  18. Lovely start to the day here, Not sure how long the sun will stick around for though. A boring 10 days of weather coming up, perhaps some fog at times if you like that sort of thing. Bit early to say chances of snow are over, I've seen more snow in late Feb & start of spring than I have Pre-Christmas.
  19. My 2pm game looks to be on which surprised me a bit, rain expected though so I can imagine the slide tackles will be flying in today
  20. Not been a bad day here, plenty of sunny spells but a bitter wind, looks like the wind stays around tomorrow too with some rain about....looks like the start of next week will be cool too BUT ...it is winter so to be expected I notice late Tuesday a cheeky E'ly again before switching to a SE...which may not feel mild either. If there is an E or SE'ly wind off a very cold continent snow can fall up to -1c at 850Hpa and thicknesses can be as high as 537dam as the air is dry and very cold..................IF ONLY it was that simple LOL
  21. That wind is certainly picking up.....a right old windchill !!!
  22. Paul S made a good post earlier about why look towards Holland for the snow as they won't last over the North Sea,only if frontal. probably because i was looking and going on about the Dutch radar, although I wasnt looking for streamers from there tbh but anyway Paul's post very good EDIT.... This was Paul's post, very informative You guys do realise you dont need to look at the Dutch Coast for Streamers dont you ? Please tell me you dont think they travel all the way across the North Sea ?? Every single Streamer event has showers initiating within 50-75 miles of our coast in the shallower waters around the Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Kent coasts, the only snow that comes from Holland and Belgium is frontal snows. I can see a weak streamer setting up in the perfect place atm, about 50 miles off the Coast making a perfect line which is heading WSW At present, granted it is pretty weak but it is there none the less, probably wont settle though lol
