  1. Indeed Daniel We only have to remember back to that April event on a Sunday evening, was it 2008?
  2. ...Just a shame this won't be a E or NE'ly feed LOL.... then wasn't it the 2nd lot in December that pushed in from the North? I think the North West got hit first then it pushed down to us
  3. JFF http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/2015/11/18/basis12/ukuk/rart/15112106_1812.gif For some reason I cannot seem to post the actual Images so sorry for the links.
  4. This is a good thing I always find because it keeps flip flopping, keeps us in the game, the longer that goes on the better our chances. Also little things like the BBC/Meto forecast showing sleet symbols I like to see also...like it currently is lol One annyoing thing is the Rain has come to early, if only that Friday AM rain was delayed 24/48hrs ! Sorry to hear about your loss Timbo, very sad indeed.
  5. Lovely start here, the sun seems to give everyone a lift :-) Now I'm not that bullish about the weekend looking at this mornings output BUT that's my own thought for looking into every run too much, I think I'll enjoy the rollercoaster ride today and then look deeper into things tomorrow. The only good thing is 99% of the time in.these situations it always flip flops
  6. Yeah it's really giving us a final kiss goodbye here, last hour really gusty but also strangely mild for the time of year....the weekend will require a thicker jacket though :-)
  7. Hopefully when Barney passes we can look at the weekend in more detail, the set-up reminds me of a previous set-up where it was more East Anglia ( I think ) that got an overnight surprise, just can't remember the year!
  8. I'm surprised and presume your in Town? I Passed through Chatham then Lordswood as i cut through to Boxley, was Windy higher up at Lordswood. I for one would like to keep the new fence panels this year, as it cost me almost a grand to replace two sides of the garden!
  9. I'll raise your ramp.. http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/2015/11/16/basis06/ukuk/rart/15112206_1606.gif
  10. I've been enjoying the mildness to be honest but also don't mind the odd cold snap and this weekend certainly looks like being just that. The feel like temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be very interesting, potentially 1-2*c in the breeze. Certainly anywhere in the U.K. around coastline with precipitation falling will want to take a look out the window just incase some sleet falls at least at lower levels.
  11. Sunday might feel a tad milder again out of the breeze, certainly night temps will be up due to cloud cover.. Not looking forward to tomorrow rain fest
  12. I may move West http://modeles.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/runs/2015111206/gfs-2-240.png?6?6
  13. Morning all not a bad start here finally see some blue sky. Tomorrow looks half decent also and perhaps feeling more seasonable under clear sky, just a shame when we get to the weekend it looks like Saturday wants to throw heavy rain our way!!!
  14. Things look like cooling off as we head towards the last week of the Month, something to watch for some of you wanting winter early http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Recm2402.html
  15. Love how some get all worked up about the current mildness... 1. It's still Autumn 2. We have had some of our best Snowfalls in Feb ...Therefore anyone that declares Winter is Over before it's even starts or halfway through needs a damn good thrashing with some of Lauren's left over tomatoes
  16. Not been too bad here today, little breezy, few sunny spells and still feeling quite Mild out of the breeze. Does anyone else can't believe that it's Christmas next month? I really think this mild Autumn is making it feel like an extended Summer. The dark nights are not feeling as gloom and doom like previous years, probably because can get out and do more in this current weather, yes the weekend was wet but blimey how mild was it!! On Friday Night we went to a firework party and everyone was in the garden and it was still 15.5*c at 10.30pm. Also in the pub yesterday we was chatting about not having to dig out the winter jackets yet....long may it continue then give us a nice cold snap in Jan and get it all out the way ready for an early spring
  17. Slight mist in the distance towards the Thames Estuary, glimpses of some blue sky above. Mid Month looking interesting with potential for some sleety showers even down the Eastern side for some lucky ones, problem is this looks like happening a little later than I first thought back in October when I thought this would be here by the end of Oct and I got it horribly wrong , hopefully the delay is for the better and we benefit greater. Would happily take a sleety shower for November but in this game still too far out to get overly excited. Not much snow in Finland at present but it is an area I'll be watching closely as a guide, Northern area of Finland look to start taking a temperature dip tomorrow so will keep an eye on developments, no real reason but I always take note for a personal guide. We are in a very funny stage, people can see the potential but don't want to over hype and be labelled as a ramper for the whole of winter when it arrives
  18. The last time my pyracanthra had berries this red was in Nov 2010 :-) ...it couldn't could it? Been foggy most the day here, now just a mist so hoping travel will be ok tomorrow morning
  19. Fog here also, always amazes me how you can travel a few miles and have totally different weather conditions
  20. So tomorrow was looking at a good 16*c with sunny spells but now shows a generally cloudy picture and only 12*c...damn What's the betting Firework night will be full of fog and won't be able to see anything
