No, not specifically but the news surrounding that pushed the thought of making the forum logins secure to the forefront of our minds a little more!

We've changed the login system today to use secure pages for all logins, password changes etc. This will have the knock on effect of some browsers forgetting login information for the forums, so if you can't remember your current password and find yourself locked out, just use the forgotten password link on the page and the system will send an email to you straight away. That shouldn't make a difference, and it also shouldn't give an error like that if it did. It's all a bit weird - will keep digging to try and figure it out.

Are you trying to upload one image at a time, or a number at once? I'm just trying to recreate it, as I've not been able to break it in my attempts.

What browser are you using there?

It may be worth removing the spaces from the filenames of the photos you're trying to upload. I can't recall it erroring on that before but it's possible.

I think you probably will need to raise a ticket through the site so we can look into this more closely as without actually tracking your session as you login etc it's impossible to diagnose.

I can't say I've ever been able to recreate the issue you've described to be honest, it may just be something unique to your vpn or the setup you have on your browser, so it's very difficult to diagnose it on that basis.
