  1. The login for extra doesn't use an ip address at all - it's all cookie and session based
  2. So you're having the problem still? (the forum servers log more than just standard http errors btw)
  3. I can't see any more problems showing on the logs or anything currently, so I think any occasional slow loads may be more about people's local connections rather than anything server side.
  4. Ok thanks, I'm pretty hopeful it should be ok now but let me know if you see it happening any more.
  5. As above really, has this happened at all since 1200ish this afternoon?
  6. Has it happened since i posted this pm?
  7. Looks like the 3pm data came through with most of the UK radar network missing, it's fine on the 3:05 data though.
  8. I've not noticed anything since we rebooted everything, but I've made a couple of small changes to the config which may have been causing the odd problem. Let me know if it keeps happening though.
  9. Going to lock this one for now - way too early for any discussion around this really..
  10. I see you've double posted a couple of times which is usually indicative of some sort of connection issue somewhere, I've rebooted the servers which should clear it with any luck.
  11. For those of you who noticed the slightly erratic updates on the ATD lightning detectors yesterday, the problems are now all sorted - so the free version will update every 15 minutes, and the Extra version every 5 minutes Free http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=lightning;sess= Extra http://www.netweather.tv/secure/cgi-bin/premium.pl?action=lightning;sess=
  12. Definitely some really lively looking storms kicking into gear now. Without lightning strikes With lightning strikes
  13. Lightning in the Bristol channel - slowly moving inland. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=lightning;sess=
  14. The thread is still there, just unpinned as it's not current any more. http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/78606-netweather-winter-forecast-2013/
  15. Radar certainly looking lively. http://www.netweather.tv/radar
  16. I don't have time to move posts about right now, but this is not model related - please post this sort of thing in to the model banter thread and keep this thread to actually discussing the models.
  17. Last warm one for a while though! John, here you go
  18. Snow incoming to the Alps this weekend - goodbye t-shirts, hello powder! http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5756;sess=
  19. Big dump incoming - time to put the t-shirts away and get ready for powder. View the full blog here
  20. Actually it's a slightly bigger gremlin, but will be fixed on the next update later this afternoon
  21. If you're sneezing and a bit snotty at the moment, it could well be hayfever as the tree pollen season is underway. Our daily pollen count forecasts are now up and running, and will continue right through the 2014 sneezing season http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=pollen;sess=
  22. This thread is not for publicly stating members that you may or may not be adding to the ignore list, so those doing that sort of thing need to stop.
  23. Can we drop the personal digs please and just concentrate on discussing the models.
  24. Latest from Jo Farrow - turning windier, wetter and colder.. No ads version here: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5743;sess=
  25. The community managed for years without the like button, as it's only been about (in the form of public likes) for about a year or so, I'd say it's the members, the posts, the pm's and the discussion which make any community, not a like button. I'd also say this new system could well add something to the community as if people want to engage a bit more with others and show their thanks, agreement or whatever publicly and personally, they may choose to post when previously may have just hit the like button
