  1. Which tablet Lettice? Have tested on various androids and ipads without seeing that problem.
  2. We've got a networking / connectivity issue currently, should hopefully be sorted soon.
  3. Jo's been out to meet the storm this morning: More here too: The Hoolie Arrives - And More To Come This Week
  4. You can view the satellite overlay on the radar for the UK at least http://www.netweather.tv/radar (click the vis sat or ir sat button)
  5. And anyway back to the models - fwiw regarding obnoxious posts and the like, if people are being deliberately awkward, deliberately trolling or anything which isn't in the spirit of the forum then please report it, as it's not something any of us want to see on here
  6. Lot's happening today - here's the latest from Michael Fish - baton down the hatches, and he also mentions the s word... Jo has put together a blog and video (her first one for netweather!) looking ahead to Sunday's 'Hoolie' http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5408;sess= And Nick has a blog looking in more detail at the upcoming storm: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5411;sess= Plus here on the forum, head over to the severe weather forum for more storm related discussion: http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/75377-atlantic-storms-2013/page-10
  7. Jo's put together a video about the 'Hoolie' this weekend http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5408;sess= And Nick has also made a blog with details on our first proper storm of the season http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5411;sess=
  8. Hi Ben - we've not released all of the dates as yet but if you drop us a line via the website we can fill you in with the details and the current state of play in terms of spaces remaining. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=contact;sess=
  9. Humberto the hurricane! http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5407;sess= (Written by Jo Farrow)
  10. Something more mundane I think, but great photos nonetheless!
  11. As well as new mobile friendly model viewers, we have also added the GEM to the site today (limited chart types at the mo, but more to come). You can view the various models from here: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=charts-and-data;sess=
  12. Those with 0 warnings being shown, have 0 warnings so no issues there, it's the same on all accounts. Aside from the team, everyone can only see their own warning display, which is why you don't see any on other peoples accounts. In terms of those with warnings, best bet is to pm as there's no set time period for removing them and we do it on a case by case basis so to speak, so if they're bothering you please pm me or one of the others in the red team to discuss.
  13. In my experience, this sale period is usually more expensive than the one in late December and January.
  14. The CFS anomaly charts really need to be held and averaged rather than being shown raw every day - the NCEP themselves hold for 7 days and present an average of those, we do similar as well. Looking at the daily output won't give you much info as they will always be very jumpy.
  15. The Fohn affect helping eastern Scotland to see some warmth today - Jo's written a quick blog update about it: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5390;sess=
  16. The CFS is still going nuts for northern blocking this winter - it's been an ongoing pattern on the output for well over a month - but despite this, obviously still some way to go and much could change...
  17. You can select whichever username you like when you register (Biggin is available) - it's a separate registration process to the forum: https://www.netweather.tv/secure/cgi-bin/login.pl?action=register;code=
  18. The passwords are stored on the database and the only time they change are when people request a new one, so it's possible someone did that using your username in error (you would have received an email in this instance), but either way you'll be able to get a new one straight away using the forgotten password option.
  19. No, you shouldn't have to - I'd assume that you're maybe using the wrong password, if you follow the forgotten password link it'll email you out a new one right away which you can login with (once you're subscribed and logged in you can change it to a new password if you like)
  20. Don't worry, they're not coming through, they only send once you put the report info in and submit. Have you tried using the mobile view btw - in most cases it should switch automatically, but if not you can select mobile skin from the change theme link on the bottom left of every page.
  21. Just moved a bunch of mostly non-model related stuff into the model chat thread, so if your post is missing it'll be there.. http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/76235-model-banter-moans-and-ramps/
  22. Just a reminder (as one or two have now fallen foul of it), posts which have a go at others, are personal snides or attacks are unacceptable and as such we have a zero tolerance policy toward them in this and the model banter thread. Any posts of this sort will be removed and those making them stopped from posting in here with no further notice so please take heed and moderate your own posts before hitting the submit button.
