  1. There were a few data issues overnight so the nmm's all stayed on the 18z, but they're updating now - the 8km original nmm is done and the 2 new ones are 10 minutes from finishing
  2. All sorted now, and fully updated for the 6z http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=nwdc;sess=
  3. Thanks, we're just looking into this now - appears to be an issue with the server at the NOAA (not the one which runs the gfs, but the one which stores the files for us to grab).
  4. A final reminder - we're taking a zero tolerance approach to personal snipes and attacks in here now, so a number of people are on seriously thin ice this morning. Please moderate yourselves before hitting the post button or the likelihood is that a few will be stopped from posting in here with no further notice...
  5. Clearing your browser cache should sort it, and then if the function icons on the post screen are still greyed out click the small switch top left of them and it'll reactivate it.
  6. Latest look at the weather for the upcoming week (and beyond) from Michael Fish:
  7. I think it may be releated to the version of Ubuntu/flash player/browser more than anything else, as the youtube embeds use their own code etc, and are working on other browsers from what I can see.
  8. This should be fixed now, we the V4 zooms onto a new server and the placenames didn't go over properly initially.
  9. Sorry you're not happy - there's a full feature list of all thats included in the subscriptions on those links so all the info is there I think. Please feel free to call in the morning to discuss though (or reply to the ticket you opened before you subscribed). You can cancel for a full refund if it's not for you
  10. Hi, the radar subscription doesn't include the forecasts I'm afraid - they're available from lite subscriptions upwards only. The new rainfall total maps are also lite upwards currently, although rain accumulations are also available on the radar viewer for the last 24 hours and downwards at various intervals. You can find the feature set for the radar here: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=radar-extra;sess= And more information on what the 3 subscription options include here: https://www.netweather.tv/secure/cgi-bin/login.pl?error=session_timeout Hope that helps Paul
  11. Oops, sorry that shouldn't be saying that any more as we stopped the extra monthly forecasts some time ago - I'll get the page updated asap.
  12. This option isn't available currently I'm afraid, it may be something we can add in during some planned upgrades to the forecasts very soon though
  13. This is how the system has always worked - it checks the first 8 characters of the password when you login.
  14. There does appear to be a problem at the moment, just looking into getting it sorted out
  15. Spotted this on the bbc site and thought it may be of interest: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-23621324
  16. We're developing an app currently, we'll have some more news on this in the near future
  17. I assume you're meaning this? http://forum.netweather.tv/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1
  18. This is still ongoing and based on some of the posts over the last 24 hours there are a handful who are pushing themselves ever closer to the exit door in here - please take heed...
  19. This has been said a million times before, but this thread isn't for moaning about people and their posts, it's for chat/banter/moans about the models, their output etc. If you have an issue with a post then please report it, don't come in here and start ripping into people though, it's not on, is way outside the topic of this thread and more importantly the spirit of the community.
  20. Could we beat 33.5c today (making it the hottest day of the year so far): http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5332;sess= (Blog from Jo)
  21. This is something that the met office monitor and try to deal with at source as it happens, I know they've been doing a fair bit in recent weeks as it's high pressure situations where it can occur most readily.
  22. Had some massive load going through all of our web servers which knocked them over, it's settled down now so hopefully all should be fine. Sorry about that.
  23. For what it's worth, the team are here to help to keep the forums running smoothly for the benefit of the members using them, so (bearing in mind it's never possible to please everyone) if the majority are enjoying the regional threads as they have been running so far - ie more weathery stuff when there's lots of weather happening, then less weathery stuff and more banter when the weather is quieter then as a team we ought to (and will) take that on board and go with the flow. I hope that clarifies things a bit - yes it's a weather forum but it's also a community so the flow of these sorts of threads will vary from day to day, and from region to region (some of them have very little banter for instance) and that's fine all the time we keep a weathery vein running through it and the majority are happy that the format is working for them.
  24. The above is ongoing, so please take heed..
