Have just seen this so sorry for late reply. I’m having issues with my weather station but it’s down to outages with my broadband, provided by TalkTalk. I know it’s dropped because I’ll lose my stream on the tv and that time matches with the outage on my Wunderground account. I’m almost at the end of my contract so will be switching back to BT. Fed up of having to re sync my station pretty much every day.
Thanks for your reply :),
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be the broadband here, as everyone elses' devices have been ok.
Maybe it's just one of those things... -
Afternoon everyone,
Have any of you had any periods during the day when date isn't received by the display unit, thus not being uploaded online?.
I've had this problem with my 2910 on a few days, it's happened about 5 times this morning.
The weather station is mounted on a pole in the same place that my previous station was sited, and the display unit isn't being moved around inside the home.
Any suggestions at all?.Thank you.

Started with wet snow about midday here, occasionally switching between rain/snow(heavy at times) up until the sun went down, at which point it started snowing properly and has managed to settle a bit on the wet ground since the temp/dew point has dropped just below freezing.
Same here in Huntingdon :).

Hello,
Do any of you have links to radar showing the long-lived thunderstorm, from the evening and overnight period of July 22nd / 23rd 2013?.
Thank you :).

How many times have major events almost come out of nowhere? That has been my experience.
On the flip side - how many times have almost - certain to happen major events vanished without trace?

Morning chaps and chapesses ,
I drove along the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway last night, and encountered two light snow flurries from about 22.20, between Fen Drayton and Oakington...

Morning everyone,
Firstly - if this is in the wrong place, please move it and accept my apologies.
A couple of weeks ago, I believe on the National Geographic channel, Tornado Destruction: Caught on camera was shown.
Did anyone record this? If so, would they be willing to burn a copy to DVD please?
All costs will be gladly reimbursed.
Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

Lovely storm overhead here now, plenty of action - at last I've had more than a distant rumble and can hand in my membership to the no storms club !!
Woohoo!

A very impressive day for storms for my location, the fact thunder and lightning and to a similar extent the heavy rainfall as it kept on going for over 2 and a half hours was phenominal (from between 12:30 pm - 3pm ish). Some very close CG lightning strikes, a tree down my road was struck and caught on fire! Hopefully we can get more days like this this Summer. Cambridge University weather station recorded 12mm of rainfall today, as the first cell that passed to the East this morning contained no rainfall.
Hello Ben,
We received 9.2mm here in St. Ives. We only saw two flashes of lightning all day, due to the heavy, low cloud and rain.
As for the amount of thunder that was heard - my wife and I were very pleased!

Almost continuous, distant deep rolling thunder to be heard from the south east...
