Afternoon folks,
Amid all of the doom and gloom being purveyed (perhaps understandably), we are having a brief snow shower at this moment in time

I can see milky white cloud off to my North East, although my Net Weather Extra radar seems to have frozen about an hour ago.
Hopefully we'll see some snow here later. Off to work at 2pm, have fun folks

Us poor souls in St. Ives are currently being passed by again, hopefully later on will change things

The constant showers did the trick last night with the snow shower at 3am lasting for around 45mins. Must have around 3inches of snow outside.
Morning!. We had what amounted to a faily light shower, more akin to an extra dusting...

Well, after a thoroughly boring day snow-wise from the cab of a bus, it is snowing here at this very moment. Probably just for a few mins though...

I don't think you'll see anything substantial for the next few hours at least, unfortunately

It seems now that the showers / spells of snow are taking a different course. Only a couple of hours ago, there was what appeared to be a streamer running East - West through The Wash, heading towards the Peterborough Area.
It then started to very slowly draw southwards, before moving away. The current bulk of showers on the radar for this area show a pronounced North East - South West direction...

I'm at work in cambridge now and there is so much more snow here, hard to believe just being a few miles away.
Fingers crossed for today and the weekend, want to see Warners Park covered
When I drove into Cambridge from St. Ives on Wednesday, there was so much more snow from Girton Corner into Cambridge, than there was this far West.
Hopefully this weekend will be good for us

That band of rain, sleet, snow or what-ever in the south west has now started to make progress eastwards again...
