That band is gradually sinking South though - if it keeps going from the East, it could get to us. We have an ever changing situation here this morning I think, the shower direction is all over the place!
Nice to hear from you again this year, we are neighbours after all!
Indeed, it's good to hear from you too - we could almost shout across! .
I'll be watching the weather until about 2pm, when I cycle down to Fenstanton to start my late shift at Stagecoach...
-
Wind direction more Easterly in the last hour, now my showers have to come 100 miles from the coast - nothing left by the time they get to me
Do I see a streamer setting up just North of Peterborough?
It certainly appears thus Mark, if only it would sink down about 25 miles or so ...

Another light 'showerlet' in St. Ives ...

Your side!! I'm right next to A1/A605 Services. been coming steadily for about 20 mins, just had few mins of pretty hard snow
Aah right . It's not snowed here for a good while now, although we've had odd grains floating about most of the time since 8am...

Few flurries this side of Peterborough, looking at the MetO Invent looks like a big bad heading towads us, then looking at 12pm on same indent it curves completely round us!!!! Hahahaha Theres a law about that! Still fingers crossed for something substantial here.
Which side of Peterborough? We're still getting odd flurries here too .

Morning folks,
We're just in the middle of our second (at least) heavy snow shower, it looks that possibly it could be our turn today .
Stay safe everyone.

Yes, that's the show

I got the Natures Fury DVD's for my christmas, presuming it's the same one? Made by discovery. Will find out where they got it from.
Hello Ross,
So far as I know, it's not the Discovery Channel show with the same name, it's filmed by a chap called Chris Terrill, and produced by ITV Studios and Uppercut Films.
Unfortunately I cannot find anything about it purchasing a DVD of it online.
-
this is a real good one..
with the gas station
Indeed! Brilliant stuff .
Now, where to buy it...
-
Evening everyone,
The repeat of Nature's Fury - Tornado with Chris Terrill, is currently on ITV4.
Does anyone know where you can purchase this on DVD?
Thanks in advance.
Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

We've just had a brief flurry here in St. Ives, there is more cloud about now, so hopefully we'll see some more soon.

Check out my Icicles!!
Ooh, Matron

Morning everyone,
We've had a dusting overnight, and, looking at the NWExtra radar, we should have some more shortly .
Hope you're all enjoying the snow
-
It has finally just started to snow here in St. Ives .
EDIT - Stopped again!
-
Morning everyone,
Still no sign of any snow here in St. Ives, although I did see 15 flakes of snow last night from my bus
-
Still nothing here but looks hopeful for tomorrow morning . . . fingers crossed.
Enjoy your snow everyone and stay safe . . sleep time for me.
Janet x
Fingers crossed indeed!

No snow here in St. Ives

SORRY not to be with the rest of you but hate snow and dread getting it as I have panic attacks because of the snow and with thunder storms as well lol. Snowing very lightly here now.
I'm very sorry to read of that ...

Big wet old flakes now
Hope for both our sakes (we1330) that good old Stagecoach don't run in next weeks predicted heavy snow
Indeed, I'd sooner be at home enjoying the snow with my family, than being sat in the cab of a snowed-in bus somewhere or other
-
We now have some rather large flakes here
-
Just started to snow here in Cambourne
-
Just can't decide here in St Ives, very dark now and temp of 1.4
Hope the precipitation cools it down a bit
Indeed!
-
Now it's snowing again. Hopefully that was the brief warm front ahead of the real stuff
Fingers crossed then for you, TEITS and all of us Cambridgeshire residents .
Here, it's alternating between snow and sleet, in fairly heavy bursts...

LOL! Hello!. Well, we 'do' have about 1cm on the ground here, where it hasn't been blown around that is
