    -1.1C here in Wolves, and still falling slowly, skies stil look fairly clear. Local BBC forecast had it set at +2 to +1C overnight, so slightly incorrect - again.

    More chance of the white stuff in central areas of mainland Spain on that run, still looks like we're grasping at straws for any long term cold.

    Thanks for that, i don't think i'll post anything again, as finding the correct words is difficult, so i think i will just watch from a distance. Been trying to recover for 10 years, and 3 from the op, so it's unlikely. Forget about that, this is a weather forum, so i won't interfere again.

    Temp holding at -2.3C here in Wolves for a couple of hours now, so who knows what may or my not happen early tomorrow.

    Just a quickie, local BBC forecast has temp to stay at +1C here until around 10pm sort of time, but it is currently at -1.4C and still falling.

    Had absolutely nothing here in the northern side of Wolverhampton, a sleety bits, that's all.

    Sleety rain now, wind has picked up, temp at 1.3C, so falling & settling still unlikely.

    Looks like the frontal system is weekening now, so anything substantial is looking less and less likely now - unless something extremely unlikely happens, like a sudden strengthing occurs. Temp stuck at 1.4c for over an hour now.

    Light rain now in Wolves, temp has actually risen in last 1/4 of an hour. I think i can kiss goodbye to snow here this eveving and overnight.

    Predominantly rain, with the odd flake mixed in, temp still too high for snow, at 1.2C, be surprised if it turns, let alone settles here.

    Latest GFS starts the procession from the 25th, cold, snow, etc, definitely on the back seat now, for a few days (possibly weeks!), certainly hope not though.

    Air temp dropped 0.6C in last half hour here, so anything falling could well be white, it's currently -0.1C.

    -6.9C here now, did briefly start rising a couple of hours ago, but just falling away now.

    I think forget about snow now, it's the ice will be the problem, temp dropping away here now, falling away to -3.1C quickly.

    I've been watching this radar all afternoon and evening, and there must one one of those "snow windows " over this town, as the image was almost clear and also when i looked at Telford's, Walsall's & Cannock's BBC's forecast's all what was forecasted here was just light snow, but the other's were due heavy fall's, just as tonight's also. Very bizzare, also next to nothing falling here now, but it is elsewhere. Can anyone understand this, or is it just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    I don't see where they got that info from, it's stopped here now, and that radar shows that empty space growing with every frame.

    I've got maybe 3 or 4 inches of level snow, can't say for sure due to the wind blowing it around. Just like heavy dandruff falling now.
