  1. No idea, but snowfall wise not what i would call severe, but it's best just to watch the radar, and the obvious one, looking out the window, for some nowcasting.
  2. Still not a lot falling here, the wind and ice will be the main danger at the moment. Temp -2.9C.
  3. That fine snow just just increased intensity, maybe something is kicking in above, or maybe not, can't really tell due to the wind. Nah then again no, it's easing off again and sky looks a little brighter.
  4. That blasted space over wolverhampton has intrduced itself again.
  5. Another hole in the radar forming to the south of wolves. Still very light snow here, temp holding at -3.0C.
  6. Temp dropped back down to -3.0C, but the snowfall has stopped also, so i think we are chasing a lost cause here (those without any snowfall that is!).
  7. Something that can be classed as light snow falling now. Temp holding at -2.6C
  8. They really can't call themselves forecasters can they, can see these warnings being taken down soon as nothing is happening now, as this precipitation is just dying out.
  9. One thing that will happen is when it's due to rain it will rain here.
  10. If anything falls, then with this wind, which has recently increased incidently, then this this would be a very severe event.
  11. Been hazy sun here for last half hour, unless there is a rapid change soon then this just going to be another wolves cock-up.
  12. If anyone looks at how much precipitation has dissipated on the radar over the last hour, it's quite, not amazing, but a huge amount has just gone. Also temp is on the up here now.
  13. Stopped now, this is dying a rapid death. Sun's out now, a thaw will start now!.
  14. Can see the horizon clearly, sun may even be visible soon if the cloud thins out any more.
  15. Snow gap in Wolverhampton, that hole over this Town/City just will not fill in. Very very light here, could snow like this all day, but next to nothing would accumulate, but very cold.
  16. That bundle of shower activity to the east does "at the moment" appear to be thicknening up at little.
  17. Fridays event looks like it will constantly change run to run, so it will or should be called a nowcast nearer the time.
  18. Sun is out now, so what ever fell overnight is melting rapidly, so if we do get any showers later i'd be very suprised if much, if any would settle.
  19. I know it's still early, but local forecasts for my location (including netweather) barely indicate much cloud cover let alone snowfall for the next 7 days or so, so apart from being very cold, snowfall is looking quite minimal at the moment. I mean a couple of cm's is hardly worth getting the snowploughs out for. Personally i've seen this kind of setup many times before, and it does have the potential for quite a severe spell of wintry weather.
  20. Five days is bad enough, but anything after ten days really is complete fantasy. It's just another translation of the info.
  21. IF today's 06 GFS, output were to become near reality, then this country would come into almost standstill.
