  1. Don't post much, do a lot of sitting on the fence, but it looks i'll miss all the fun again, right down the middle of both area's of interest.
  2. I wouldn't bother looking at tonight's GFS output - if you don't want to get too depressed.
  3. Nah not yet, i was tempted just to see if it booted up ok.
  4. Light rain/drizzle 2.8c, very little wind, pretty dank & miserable.
  5. Looks like that front is going loop around and miss most of this area. Also, it does appear to be in decaying mode now at the moment, unless it can find some energy from somewhere.
  6. Got some soft hail & sleet at the moment. temp dropped back to 4.1c.
  7. Got some light precipitation here in Wolves but alas it's good old rain as the temp is at 4.7c.
  8. Slight chance of a little something on Thursday evening.-
  9. IF this type of setup is still there in 4 or 5 days time things COULD get interesting,
  10. Nope i personally think that that's that now - for here. Some "Artic freeze", they really are a joke.
  11. I think that is called grasping at straws!
  12. Looking at the rainfall images it looks like east anglia & kent could get a decent fall if condtions are favourable.
  13. Well, we rarely get snowfall from between the NNW & the NNE, so these warnings should never be issued.
  14. I agree, but they shouldn't be issued at all, with passed experience with this type of setup even i knew this wouldn't produce much at all here, and the met office have all this technology at their disposal and still keep making basic mistakes.
  15. Ok but the warnings out for today shouldn't include the west mids at all as there is no precipitation within 50 miles.
  16. I take these warnings with a pinch of salt as they rarely come to fruition.
  17. Don't worry that will have probably the same effect on us as the last one i.e. nothing.
  18. This so called "artic blast" is pathetic, all the weather warning's for this area has again been inaccurate and incorrect, i think snowfall should be forgotten in this "cold spell", we've had better wintry weather in March & April.
  19. Had a light covering overnight but most has melted now, temp up to 1.9c, also the bbc site has erased the snow event for tuesday. This "cold spell" is more or less over now, so roll on spring and a bit of warmth.
  20. Down to -0.5c here with moonlit sky.
  21. Look at the latest GFS, you may be disappointed.
  22. It's interesting that the met office has included the west midlands in their warnings for Tuesday, i can't see how that can be realistic. Also GFS says no snow almost anywhere on Tuesday, especially mainland England.
  23. Just had another brief light rain shower temp 5.5c.
