  1. Best one yet her temp dropped down to -1.0C mini blizzard on the go at the moment, roads still wet though.
  2. Still nothing that warrants a yellow yet alone an amber weather warning.
  3. We really need a decent attempt after 6.00pm for anything to settle and last for any length of time, but shower intensity are the always most difficult to pin point, either in winter or summer.
  4. Brief snow shower, now sun shining and melting that effort, temp 1.2C and rising.
  5. Sky clearing here now, blue visible, sun is out.
  6. Only 5 level cm's or so fell during the last event, so the few flakes blowing in the wind today is no surprise.
  7. Light snow and very windy, temp down to 0.1C now.
  8. Just be prepared for an uninteresting weekend, as currently it looks like we will miss most of the fun (weather wise that is!)
  9. The BBC forecast for Wolverhampton says just some light snow till 8.00am and that's it all weekend, then just light cloud and breezy, bit of a joke really. The Met-Office site isn't much better for snowfall, the warnings are just for the drop in temperature really here, nothing else.
  10. I just think that they are just hedging their bets with this, as these things can either expand or shrink in size and move a few miles north or south. I'll be surprised if more than a cm or so falls here, but, you never know it might have a surprise or two up it's sleeve. Also the temp reached 15C here today.
  11. Not surprised by that, same happened here during the last event.
  12. I'll believe that when i see it falling, it's still two days away.
  13. Next to nothing for the West Mids then, not worth anticipating much this weekend, there wasn't a huge fall two weeks ago, so anything that does fall will be seen as a bonus (if anybody is hoping and expecting for some snowfall that is!).
  14. I know some people don't rate the ICON model, but it does look like it has upgraded the weekends east attack.
  15. Looks like we're being teased with a possible, just possible Beast Mk2.
  16. Looks like whatever is falling will kick in after it passes here, which is/was only sleet anyway.
  17. Looks like i'm right in the middle of a huge hole in the precipitation, looks like another miss in any fun - at the moment, yup, just seen the radar, forget this again, no real surprise.
  18. Check what i said earlier, just light rain, temp too high for snow anyway, at 2.8C now.
  19. A few blobs of sleet/wet snow here.
  20. GFS 00hrs hinting at a period of colder/snow mid month again, as did/does the ECMWF this morning also, winter it would appear is not over just yet, though this may change again in a few hours time to a period of very mild weather also, so winter & spring is holding their cards very close to their chest.
  21. Just get used to that term "mild" being in the spoken forecast from now on.
  22. I'm sure the netweather app has a severe fault, but it says a extreme snow event for next Sunday the 11th, i know these things are best ignored, but it just made me laugh a little, it must be a major error in data input.
  23. Wouldn't say no to that event on the 300hrs, (16th March) GFS chart, i know it won't happen but that would be some event. Might be, and only might, be worth keeping tabs on something developing at the start of next week (12th onwards), that was the 00hrs GFS run.
