    My Daughter got married on Friday just outside Congleton in Cheshire,the weather was great the sun even came out but the weather highlight occurred just after sunset ,it was amazing, probably the most colourful scene I've ever seen

    BBC website has Fog all day tomorrow for me , TV forecasts don't seem to back that up though

    I will probably get slaughtered for saying this but once again I think our winter is over already,I want snow as much as most on here , but sadly it looks like once again any early promise soon evaporates once the Atlantic fires up .I've seen many recent winters go the same way .

    Great to see BBC weather,Meto and Diane Oxbury give their explanation (not) of the total balls up of a forecast for the NW on Sunday...Let's just not mention it and no-one will realise we really f***** up.

    Just looked at the radar and can see why people are saying the lake effect,I thought it must've been coming from over the Pennines. Could be interesting ,but more evidence that the Meto do not have a clue!

    The BBC now have light snow for Wigan at 6-7pm , the starlings must be flying west or something
