    Very true mate. Another chapter. There has been some serious weeping and knashing of teeth over this. Actually doesn't look too bad to be honest. Now 11c and sunny in SW London.

    I know what you mean mate. Very dry down here too though we actually have a heavy shower passing through just now. Every little helps. Hopefully you ll get something wetter after next Monday.

    12c with sunny spells in the capital. Cold out of the sun though with a stiff easterly breeze at 15mph. Hopefully something milder and wetter soon.

    Torrential rain again in South London. Temp 6c. Looks like a fairly wet day ahead. Met now going for '' intermittent rain and drizzle" all weekend.

    Yes, a definite trend of mild winters followed by cold springs this last several years. Playing havoc with my veg seedlings!

    I certainly hope not. There would be some issues if we get a prolonged dry spring after a fairly dry winter. Hopefully this week will be a nice top up. After that, who knows. Met going for unsettled in the medium term, till mid next week.

    Yes, could be. Met going for heavy showers possible storms in the south and east of the region later this evening and tonight. Next few days look like there could be some lively torrential downpours across the region including the capital. Certainly big change from the last few days.

    Looking at the MAD thread and the output, it looks like the SE will get a fair amount of rainfall from midweek. Some thundery downpours too. Proper spring weather.

    Yes, we certainly need a wet April and May to avoid summer drought problems in the London area. Next week looking quite lively.

    Oh god I hope not. Some people are already out in shorts and it's only 14c. Showing off their spindly white legs. Got a feeling we could be in for a washout summer, according to some of the 'experts' round the allotment too.

    Wake me up when there is some proper weather. So boring. Mind you, at least the marchers got a decent day in London today so that's something.

    Not sure about that mate. The MET outlook going for prolonged dry settled weather at least down here in SE. And the mod thread is almost in melt down mode with the possibility of long term high pressure dominance. All very very weird for folk that are interested in weather.

    It's sooo tedious this weather. It's surprising though how many folk on here actually like this type of non-weather situation. Makes you wonder.

    Nothing wrong with a bit of lively weather folks. It's only wind and rain guys, need to man up a bit. Bit of mud never killed anyone. Surprisingly mild today. 15.5c in the capital. Looks like another shower coming through.

    Torrential downpours here in South London now for the past hour. Gone extremely dark too. Very gusty winds. Met Office forecast was for 'isolated showers'. They really need to sort their you know what out.
