  1. Heaviest rain of the day so far just now. Getting very dark.
  2. Not the concrete mate. Parks, gardens, allotments etc etc. 18.4mm already today. Well impressed, for June.
  3. 15mm rain so far today. Could be some pretty large totals over the next few days.
  4. 12.4mm here in South London so far today. A good soaking. The allotment will be loving this. Remarkably cold though, only 11.8c.
  5. Proper drenching rains over London now. Much needed.
  6. I just love this chart. A weather enthusiasts dream. Wind, rain, thunderstorms, the lot. Summer certainly on hold. Met Outlook not looking at any improvements, certainly in the south, until later in June, after midsummer day. Need the rain down here anyway.
  7. Quite alot of activity heading towards NE France and Belgium. Don't often see that. Not!
  8. Not too bad this morning in South London. Patchy rain. Storm Miguel? How utterly ridiculous!! Imagine the panic if some of these forecasters, including some on here, were in the States or anywhere that gets even moderately wild weather.
  9. Yes indeed mate, and about time too. I think we ll do OK for rain in SE over next week or so. Here's hoping. Very badly needed.
  10. Certainly looks like an unsettled and pretty wet couple of weeks coming up for most of England and Wales. Latest update from Met would appear to back that too.
  11. Speaking of 'floating boats', looks like we will be needing some. No need to post charts this time. Output is dire for the next 10-14 days. Certainly a very dire soggy start to summer, more especially midlands northwards.
  12. I'd make the most of this weekend( Midlands southwards) as the next two weekends could be total write offs.
  13. The GFS 00z paints a very nasty start to summer all the way till mid June. Haven't had time to look at the other models, I expect they are the same. Can't help feeling we are looking at another 2007 or 2012 summer. It's going to be a grim one I feel, especially away from Southern England.
  14. GFS out to mid June paints a dire picture if it's summer your after. Should be warm down south mind.
  15. Pressure looks to stay stubbornly low across and around the UK right out until the 8th.A very damp start to meteorological summer.
  16. ECM for this day next week looks like putting summer on hold, to say the least. Plenty of much needed rain with that LP that looks like it may hang about for some time. Summer 2007 repeat anyone? It's possible!
  17. Summer definitely on hold according to this chart. Could get pretty interesting down here if this LP develops further and moves in over the south. Hope so!
  18. The latest output would tend to suggest that the SE will do well to hit 27c on Saturday. The Midlands northwards 20c max. All downhill then from Sunday. One day wonder hot spell.
  19. Yes indeed. Just forecasting isolated showers now for tommorow. Beginning to wonder if we will ever see any meaningful rain here in the capital.
  20. Couldn't agree more. I think the moderators, like the usual posters on there, have a weird desire to live in a scorched parched dust bowl. And woe betide anyone who posts otherwise. Sad demise of what used to be a good site.
  21. @Badgers01Did the little fella vote? He might as well have given the bonkers mess we are in! 25.2c now in South London. Just hot enough for me. Not an oppressive heat which is good.
