    Just noticing this line across the sky amongst the cloud.. What does it signify ? I only recall seeing it during hot thundery weather

    South East Wales, -- sky towards Cardiff.. and sky towards the South Wales valleys in the East, (in order) .. light compensation doesn't show the true darkness of the Southern sky

    There are some pretty pronounced clouds being developed across areas right now https://de.sat24.com/de/gb/visual does anyone have some photos of such areas ?

    oddly nothing has come up on Blitzortung, but I do see a relatively high top cloud around the area.. compared to everywhere else.

    Cornwall seems to have a rash more showers than approached it, it so may'be this is the start

    I think the little storm over France early this afternoon got us all hyped up ,, and then the odd dash of sferics in other places also aided this.. now, I want to continue looking at cloud depths to see if anything is developing.

    i'm doing an interval recording now , I wonder what it will hold, recording this splice of cloud, I lowered the brightness so the depth of the cloud is visible.

    Looking over the satellite at the Bay of Biscay, you will notice on SAT24, the the very Northern part of the cloud mass, there is a thicker smaller cloud mass that has broken away and heading NNEwards very rapidly.

    I think our storm potential is more based off what's just coming out of Spain into the Bay of Biscay... and may I add.. seems to be wrapping around itself like it's some sort of whirlpool .

    We don't know if this is earlier than planned.. or just more developing.. extending the storm potential

    Just checking SAT 24, the latest Radar shows existing cloud developing further, looking like the very beginning! This in the Plymouth area, I wonder if we'll get a repeat.. or indeed a reverse of what happened in 2017.. (where by there a few lightning strikes but once in the North there are 1000s)

    my new webcam should come today so i'll set up a live stream, probably viewing SE Wales,.. so it should be this type of view.. obviously the camera could be rubbish .. it'll be a Logitech C920.. i'll record 30FPS 720HD

    that model is showing a 33 in the East on Friday quite incredible if it pulls it off ... even more so .. NE Scotland at 29
