Trees are turning here early this year, usually October before they start to loose their leaves. First frost also this morning, albeit on the grass. Autumn is here!!

All that precipitation came and went with nothing but a few minutes of rain. Oh well, theres always tomorrow and this BETTER deliver otherwise I'm becoming an alcoholic at 16!

Yep, missed out yesterday and overnight quite sad if I'm honest. This stuff better materialise for tonight because it looks quite tamed to me.

The explanation mentions large to very large hail, damaging winds and even tornadoes. Also mentions bow echoes etc. Pretty amazing stuff if you ask me!! Some BIG clouds rolling about right now but nothing will develop I dont think.

I think that's what began my interest in the weather!! It was a thunderstorm over my area when I was around 6/7 (so I was 7 when this particular event happened) and since then I've loved severe weather!! Oh the joy! Yes, I've never seen Scotland at such a high risk before, never seen us in the moderate category for severe weather, my area anyway.

Also if you guys didn't already know, there is a great app called Lightning Camera which captures a Few tenths of a second before the moment you press the button to take a picture. Its good for those with slow reactions and we all know how hard lightning is to capture!! Ive not had a storm yet to try it out but this week may allow this to happen, heres hoping!!!!

That little storm looks pretty good for tomorrow evening, could be a taster of what's to come! Let's hope it actually does materialise and doesn't fizzle out altogether!!

Some real good charts coming out now and for us too for a change! I really hope we get to experience the big storms that come with the heat because in my opinion, a warm/hot spell is not complete without a good old storm with the thunder rattling the windows!
