  1. It's up there with the best, really impressive storm over the past week.
  2. September's daytime average here was 17C, which is 1.1C above the average of 15.9C. So currently, October's anomaly is greater than September's... What the hell!!
  3. The average daytime temperature here in the first week of October is 15.7C, which is a whole 1.8C ABOVE the average of 13.9C. Now that's weird considering the easterly flow we've all had.
  4. The Carolinas are bearing the brunt now, especially areas NE of Savannah.
  5. This is looking truly devastating for the Caribbean, and potentially the US too. Cat 5 landfall in Florida? THAT WOULD BE INSANE!!
  6. Nice sky tonight. Once my new contract starts the pictures will be better.
  7. Thank you! All of this will become much clearer when I start Uni next year!
  8. This year looks pretty close to 2010 but if that actually means anything yet remains to be seen. Hopefully it does!!
  9. Today's chart: Some melt on the SW extent but still looking good.
  10. High of 14C today, although the temp was still in single figures around 1pm.
  11. Looks like its moving SW to me, have no clue what its doing anymore...
  12. chilly is definitely the word for this weekend, I love this weather!!
  13. People dont have their heating on yet?! My mum keeps it on all year round!!!! Although this weekend is central heating galore, already single figures tonight.
  14. Thank God its not only me! Its hard enough trying to tame an afro never mind walking into school with it a complete mess! I cant even put my hood up because it flattens it
  15. Does anyone know the largest 1st of October extent record? Would be interesting to compare it to this year and see where we're at with it. edit: Maybe the more modern records would need to be looked at since the amount of ice back in the early 20th Century is vastly different to now.
  16. Meanwhile in FI, signs of an Easterly developing. Not sure if its desperately cold but there's a fair amount of blocking around to the North and East of us. Bearing in mind this is T384, although it fits with the Express headlines with 'COLD AND SNOW REACHING THE UK IN JUST WEEKS'
  17. 17C and feeling very muggy today, not the best when its pouring either.
  18. I'm sick of rain so lets hope for no rain, but LOADSSSS of snow!!
  19. Average temperature here so far for September is 17.9C, which is 1.5C warmer than average. Still quite a noticeable difference between here and you guys further South.
