  1. Well hopefully the next couple of days you see something John. After this week who knows what might happen. Still a couple of months left for something good!!
  2. With this on the charts for Monday night into Tuesday I thought there would have been a bit of interest in her tonight!! Hopefully it comes true!!
  3. Temp dropped off like a stone within a 45 minute period tonight!! Next couole of days looking good!!
  4. The way winter has gone so far I'll beleive them went I see the snow in the ground!! It is looking good at the minute!! A few small flurries blowing through here today!!
  5. Had a quick flick through the charts, Monday into Tuesday has been downgraded big time!! Still time for change though.....hopefully!!
  6. Same over in Crumlin Watsy. Some of the showers turning in over north eastern Scotland and not making it far enough south for us.
  7. Is this the low approaching on weather?
  8. Someone on model forum says low is tracking further south quicker rather than east so could be a good event for more areas of Ireland!!
  9. MetO do have and had have heavy snow for lisburn between 8pm and 12pm this evening. Polar low has its own thread now if anyone wants to keep updated. https://forum.netweather.tv/topic/82413-tracking-the-potential-polar-low-thursday-into-friday/
  10. Definitely look interesting Ronan. I think tomorrow still looks marginal for snow affecting some lower level areas.
  11. And whats your thoughts on Saturday moring onwards?
  12. Its just started snowing really heavy again here. Temp has risen and was starting to turn to slush
  13. if you watch the met office radar and turn on the IR satellite there is a large area of could forming behind this next system. Its outside of the boundaries of the precipitation radar.
  14. Same sort of chart as Tuesday with large central belt getting nothing.
  15. Having a look through charts. Tuesday looks interesting.
  16. I can't see what is warranting a yellow warning for snow on both Saturday and Sunday. Good fall overnight was about 3-4 inches covering. Slight showers all morning so far. Radar showing another band of showers approaching from the north west.
  17. Snow starting to turn slushy now on the drive, temp must be increasing slight!! Anyone think we'll get much overnight?
  18. Another really heavy shower here now....showers seem to be merging giving good heavy falls. Tomorrow again is starting to look interesting. MetO have been pretty spot on so far in terms of timings. I think things will pick up rightly Mountain Shadow as sun sets. Settling snow will decrease temps again.
  19. Really heavy shower here now, been on for 5 mins and place white, good thick stuff.
  20. Good heavy snow in crumlin, ground to wet and not lying. Can see a covering over the mountains behind Belfast already.....should make the drive home fun.
  21. Showers arriving quickly and moving fast across the country. Looks like more organised rain patterns for later this afternoon and with the precipitation moving as quickly as it is there shouldn't be any issue with easten parts getting in on the action. Quick scan of the model thread looks promising until mid next week with Saturday and Sunday looking even colder than next couple of days.
  22. All just updated again.....no more looking!! I'll just keep an eye on in here and see what you guys think!! ** me three sperrin
  23. Had a quick scan through a few forecasts, think I'll just wait and see what happens tomorrow as downgrades to rain becoming a bit of a theme!!
  24. Just watched the BBC forecast for tomorrow and Thursday.....showers piling in from the north west and constantly turning to snow!!
  25. I know I probably shoudn't read into it to much by the met had downgraded forecast in my area to sleet and rain for most of Wednesday and Thursday!! I would have thought at this stage it would have stayed same or even increased chances of snow!! I may have to move to pomeroy!! Lol
