It might not be a Polar Low, but if it was, prepare the shovels.
It's also known as the "Arctic Hurricane" - albeit a little dramatic, usually short lived, can travel down either side of the country, you generally can't forecast them, but if one does form, it sucks up a ton of moisture, and generally dumps it over us, giving lots of snow, or rain.
