    Morning all! A little bit foggy here this morning, but I can see across the road, so it can't be that bad. 3.1c and looks quite chilly outside. Today is gottolovethisweather's birthday and he sometimes pops in here. So just in case, have a very happy birthday GTLTW.

    I have been to a parteeeeeeeeeee! It rained *topic* but we kept dry becuse we had a wood burner outside and a markey I had slow vodka only it wasn't slow becuase it went fast. haha I have a bottle to take away. happy hols to MK

    Morning all! It's dry here at the moment and a temp of 6.7c Shopping today, and then a party tonight which I'm looking forward to. JennyJane please send regards to Southernman and I hope he recovers quickly with no long term effects.

    It's a loverly day out there today in Stevenage. Not sure how long it's going to last though. And hello there 'Mr Angry'. I think we've all been where you have been at some point or another. In fact I was in your shoes not 2 days ago. Luckily I had reason to email the person on another subject and before closing the mail, added a quick apology for the 'earlier incident' with a hope that we never find ourselves in that position again...ie don't cock up again. Life's a b!tch, and every now and again, I become one.

    Thanks for sharing this with us CK. I truly believe that all our trials and tribulations make us the person we are today. Without the experiences we have to go to, to get us here, we would never be the kind of person we are. You come across on here as a wonderful guy, with a sense of humour, and deep understanding of human nature. Whatever you have been through, I believe it was worth the journey.

    I love this place and all the people in it. Not only for the weather knowledge but for the support given to members in all areas of life. I also have an autistic daughter, she struggles at school, she is not academic in any way but she has a great imagination and knows how to spin a yarn. She also has talents in music which she has been unable to follow through as she has a fear of performing and talents in IT, she can already build websites and has learnt programming skills but has no desire to learn at school. The stories here of those who have survived school and gone onto achieve regardless are an inspiration, so thank you.

    Love your musings Steve and wholeheartedly agree with them. It's not a bad day here, today. Currently 5.8c and sunny. Good weather for a nice walk. Had a beautiful frost pattern on the car windscreen this morning and I was going to take a snap, but couldn't be arsed to go back inside and get the camera.

    Afternoon all. Had a busy day, so not been able to post until now. Better late than never though. Had a couple of rain showers today, both timed to coincide nicely with the dog walk. Both waited until I was furthest distance from home before the heavens opened. Such is life, eh? Now drying out and trying to warm up. I feel cold down to the bones. Old age gets us all I guess. Ooh me bones!!!!

    Jan it is so lovely to see you back, and I hope on the road to recovery. You we're sorely missed here. Steve the fields around here are just the same. I foolishly took the dog across the fields yesterday in the hopes they'd dried out a little, but it was very swampy and we both needed a bath when we got back. Just been out for the late afternoon dog walk and boy is it chilly out there. I had gloves on but my fingers are still tingling as they warm up. Why was I praying for cold weather? I'm an idiot.

    Morning all! I'll second that C'pn, it's certainly pretty out there today. Came down at 7:30am and temp showed -0.1c, currently +0.1c I'm planning to make more soup today. I like soup.
